Financial Controls
Responsible of all financial aspects of Lebanon and Levant region companies; Tasks are as follows :
General presentation of the performed activities and responsibilities:
- Development and monitoring of financial statements;
- Development, monitoring and release of budget to the Board of Directors;
- Monitoring monthly Cash flows;
- Cost of debt and foreign currencies transactions Management;
- Issuance of Quarterly Consolidated financial statements for the Group;
- Negotiate with Banks e.g. L/Cs; L/Gs; overdraft facilities;
- Setting benchmarks for performance for the Finance team;
- Management of all payroll activities;
- Management of VAT, NSSF, Income tax on salaries and year end returns;
- Ensure compliance with professional, legislative and regulatory requirements;
- Synergize and align with External Auditors. (Deloitte & Touch, KPMG).
During this period I was working as a freelancer, my tasks consisted of various Auditing works, budget peparation, variance analysis and tax consultancy
Responsible of the overall performance of the accounts department in Beirut branch.
Audit and review of companies' financial statements, preparion of auditor's report, filling year end returns, review of NSSF bordereau , income tax return, and VAT return, preparing business consolidation reports.
Bookkeeping tasks in addition to filling income tax returns to I.R.S. and N.S.S.F.
