Job Responsibilities
•Perform all physio-chemical analyses for raw, packaging and finished product according to standard procedures and work instructions
•Carried out chemical and microbiological testing of water samples as per the SOP.
•Responsible for preparing the samples for retention with proper identification of analysis and disposal date
•Maintaining the minimum stock level of prepared media and chemicals with the right identification on each and appropriate storage.
•Maintaining the media stock record, updating when a bottle is transferred from stock count to operational count and when there is a delivery of new stock
•Responsible for sample registration, as per Internal Standard Operating Procedures along with the preparation of worksheet for the samples to be tested.
•Verify the Internal control plan of the laboratory equipment under their responsibility including calibration
•Responsible for updating the SOP manual as per revised standard or method.
•Responsible for reading of results, preparation of result and correctly reporting the results to the QC manager
•To check and analyse sample of equipment hygiene & personal hygiene of workers working in production.
•Reporting of abnormalities via notification of quality deviations and take immediate corrections
•Investigate all product complaints or safety related issues with concerned suppliers and internal and external clients
•Maintain comprehensive filing system for inspection by internal or external auditors and municipality inspectors
•Report to QC Manager on ways to improve product hygiene and food safety standards.
•Carried out shelf life stability of the product that was to be launched.
•Participated in Lab proficiency test carried out by external lab.
•Participated in training conducted for the general awareness of ISO22000 food safety management and ISO/IEC17025 for testing laboratories
