Responsibilities:
• Planning and executing innovative and measurable event marketing plans across a range of B2B events and industry conferences in varied markets across EMEA
• Strategic development, planning and implementation of digital initiatives incl. Virtual events
• Show concept development, Budget planning and forecasting
• Creating, launching and developing event brands in new markets
• Data analysis and segmentation to target and attract the right audience
• Developing and executing email marketing campaigns communicating the unique brand message, writing copy, scheduling, email design & layout, email list management, etc.
• Work closely with digital marketing agency in planning & executing effective digital marketing campaigns incl. SEOs & SEM
• Planning & executing creative, organic and paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn in partnership with external digital media agencies
• Researching, identifying and establishing partnerships with industry media outlets to increase brand awareness and revenue
• Working with exhibitors & sponsors for marketing promotion opportunities and fulfilling campaigns
• Creating high impact websites to generate leads, enquiries, paid registrations & acquire show visitors
• Briefing creative event video marketing campaigns & Television commercials
• Providing entire marketing campaign analysis and reporting
Achievements:
• Generated 50% commercial leads & Achieved 12% YoY visitor growth for CABSAT by planning & delivering an integrated marketing plan including advanced database development, innovative Email campaigns, SEO, SEM, Social Media campaigns, Radio advertising, SMS marketing, Mobile App development and buyer meeting programmes
• Successfully launched Cityscape portfolio of events in Jeddah & Riyadh, exceeding expectations by developing a comprehensive plan & taking a ‘hands on approach’ of the complete projects
• Implemented the use of effective digital marketing campaigns for Saudi Arabia in Arabic language
- Planning, budgeting and overseeing the implementation of the various event marketing campaigns in Saudi Arabia and UAE
- Defining and implementing best marketing practices to ensure consistency across all marketing activities including co-promotion of the exhibition and conference products
- Monitoring and actioning media deals with local, regional and international organisations in the region to ensure maximum exposure at lowest cost
- To keep associated marketing spend across all the exhibitions within budget and sign off the relevant marketing budgets
- Design, implement, copy write and ensure the show websites are fully up to date with latest information
- Overseeing the design and production of all marketing collateral, including sales brochures, visitor tickets, print advertisements, web banners/emails and final event catalogues.
- Monitoring the performance of marketing executives and assisting with reviews/personal assessments
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers including printing & mailing houses, media agencies and designers.
- Providing reporting information as required by the Group Director and Exhibition Director
- Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility
Achievements:
- Delivered record number of participants at the Jeddah edition of Cityscape an increase of 20% from previous year’s participants.
- Successfully launched the Riyadh edition of Cityscape exceeding expectations by developing a comprehensive plan by taking a ‘hands on approach’ with the marketing plan
- Implemented the use of new digital marketing methods like Social Media and helping it to turn it into an effective tool for generating exhibition leads, conference delegates, pre-registered visitors and also using it as a tool to keep the market updated on latest industry news
- Responsible for planning, creating and implementing marketing strategies for corporate events, European congresses, conferences and meetings from conceptual phase to completion.
- Leverage sponsorship opportunities to increase company profile or generate revenue (as applicable).
- Launching of creative strategies to increase and facilitate quality one to one meetings between the vendors and attendees; lead retrieval and event metrics analysis.
- Supporting, training and coaching a team of 15 Tele-Marketing and Database research executives to reach their full potential.
- Extensive experience in vendor/attendee relations and business partnership development to gain involvement and ensure high quality service.
- Other tasks include: Design and Development of marketing and promotional materials, event web design and maintenance, advertising campaigns, media relations and press releases.
Achievements:
- Increased the participation of international exhibiting companies and attendees through key negotiations with leading industry associations and overseas government organizations.
- Used expert coaching and training skills to mentor research & telemarketing teams. This resulted in achieving a 100 % increase in number of attendees to the events.
- Delivered a record number of attendees at events which resulted in having a record level of Vendor Re bookings Onsite for next year thereby increasing the profitability by 20%
