Support for outreaching with key stakeholders, write narrative report, policy assessment, and data collection for e- mobility in Bandung and Medan city, Indonesia ITDP - ICCT on Indonesia Mass Transit Program Support Project (IMTPSP)

Narrative report, data collection on Indonesia’s greenhouse gas emissions and road transport data, synthesized the policies, interview results with key players and stakeholders, led the workshop “The Development of a Truck Modernization Scheme in Indonesia”

Synthesized insights from various data related to the research on the gasoline and diesel fuel quality that is massively distributed in Indonesia and still left behind in terms of its quality compared to the rest of the world. Indonesia’s vehicle emission standard for its fuel is lagging. It is found that there is huge control of oil traders to keep Indonesia’s energy security still dependent to the imported fuel. The imported fuels involve complicated and massive cycle from the origin countries, through the world’s busiest strait and blending activities to generate low quality fuels. It was found opacity and manipulation behind the import and shipping activities to Indonesia.
