• Supervising field inspections across Riyadh Metro Line 4 (6 nos. stations, Line 4/6 Depot, Viaduct and At-grade sections) and leading team of inspectors providing technical support and assistance.
• Inspection of mechanical equipment and materials delivered by contractor to ensure compliance with approved MARs and project specification.
• Inspection of Mechanical equipment installations across Line 4 stations to validate installations as per approved shop drawings, method statement and Employer Requirement.
• Review of Mechanical systems shop drawings, method statements, materials submittals quality assurance procedures and as-built drawings.
• Identifying and reporting discrepancies in site installations against project documents and necessitate contractor’s corrective and preventive action.
• Conducting meetings with the contractor and monitor construction progress against project schedule.
• Review and validate IATs (Installation Acceptance Tests) of mechanical systems submitted by contractor.
• Assist RAMPED management to record and track mechanical issues / items detected during inspections in Punch List Register.
• Coordinated technical and construction departments in design, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Designed and guided team of draftsmen in preparation of shop drawings.
• Prepared and submitted RFIs, method statements and technical calculations to project consultants.
• Co‐ordination of mechanical systems with project disciplines.
• Represented HASTIE in technical meetings with consultants / client, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Co‐ordinated with Consultants to ensure timely approval of shop drawings, material submittals and response to technical queries.
• Assisted commissioning team in preparation of start-up, testing and commissioning procedures.
• Attended Testing and Balancing of Air and Hydronic systems such as AHUs, FCUs, Ventilation Fans, VAVs, Chilled water circuits and domestic hot water circuits and assisted commissioning engineers in preparation of test reports.
