Major Responsibilities Handled Across Career:
• Took end-to end responsibility of all coating activities right from planning to testing to final execution.
• See all the workers are well qualified for the activities to be done.
• Made technical discussion with paint manufacturer for day to day issues.
• Verified Technical data sheets’ compliance with the specification.
• Ensured all painting, coating designs are practical and in line with the specified requisites by preparing & reviewing drawings, specifications, job instructions and material selection.
• Reviewed project specifications, quality control procedures and method of statements. Monitored inspection of each discipline as per Inspection & Test Plan to ensure works meet the project specifications.
• Supervised the surface preparation to check for dust / salt contamination and Profile achievement levels. Visually inspected the painting activities as per the project specification requirements and ensured paint system’s WFT & DFT.
• Preparing of inspection reports, request for inspection at the time of third party inspection.
• Hot dip galvanizing coating inspection in galvanizing plant.
• Prepare all necessary QA / QC painting / coating documents and handed over to clients review.
• Liaised with QA / QC representatives and consultants or clients and arranged in- process & final inspection. Resolved technical queries.
• Raised NCR against site deficiencies and non conforming works of incoming raw material.
• Coordinate with QA/QC representatives/Client for in- process & final inspection.
• Examined coating materials & storage conditions and coating application equipments / tools.
• Reviewed all repair procedures and ensured that factors are eliminated.
• Verified the work performed against specifications, manufacturer proposals and applicator’s coating procedures. Recommended & enforced corrective measures.
• Attended quality surveillance with client.
• Preparing Work Completion Certificates.

Role and Responsibilities in Purchase & Estimation
• Verifying bill of quantities by drawing.
• Ability to calculate the surface area, paint spreading rate per unit, wastage calculation and tonnage calculation.
• Calculated the paint consumption and cost estimation by sending enquiry with paint manufacturers.
• Estimating man-hours, labour cost, overheads, material cost and others.
• Release the quotation by linear meter, square meters, tonnage and lumpsum as per materials and standards.
• Be aware of cost/schedule opportunities and to liase with the project manager on possible potential areas of risk or reward.
• Negotiating price and terms of product with suppliers.
• Establishing terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery and contracts.
• Preparation of purchase order with related documents and payment terms.
• Making recommendiations & advising senior management on all purchasing issues.
• Maintaining records of supplier contracts, agreements, goods ordered received.
