Reporting to the respective Project Managers of various projects, managing team of 6 engineers. Project managed are,
• New runway, taxiways, upgrade of existing runway project
• Electronic security systems project
• Preparation of tender packages for future works
Responsibilities:
• Project management and supervision for airfield electrical systems such as visual aids, instrument landing system, weather system, high mast lighting, 11kV substation and HV systems.
• Supervision of design activities for airfield systems with compliance to ICAO and FAA standards.
• Project management and supervision for electronic security systems such as perimeter fence detection, thermal imaging and ground radar surveillance, building security and building management system, CCTV, access control system including the supervision of design activities as per relevant military standards.
• Review of materials and method statements and assisting contractor in developing methods to overcome difficulties and coordination of works with the contractor.
• Review and coordination of project schedule for timely completion of works, preparation of technical reports for the client
• Coordination with the client, end user and the contractor during the design, construction and hand over phases to ensure smooth transition to operations.
• Preparation of concept designs, tender packages and new specifications for future works related to electronic security systems.
• Review of variations and claims and preparation of technical assessment based on project specifications, QCS and other international regulations.
Responsible for Master Community Services at The Pearl Qatar, reported to TPQ Account Manager, managed a team of 4 engineers, 45 technicians and specialized sub-contractors. Contract value of 5.2 million USD per annum.
Responsibilities:
• O&M of infrastructure and utilities such as LPG plants, fuel pump stations and fuel system for marina, sewage treatment plant, RO plant, pump stations, electrical substations, chillers, roads and street lighting systems and management of contracts for soft service and landscaping deliverables.
• Budget preparation and monthly budget reviews for the contracts, implementation of energy saving and cost reduction initiatives, total value of cost savings realized 550.000 USD per annum.
• Management of taking over process of projects from the contractors and DLP management during defect liability period.
• Implementation of preventive maintenance regime to upkeep the services and facilities to highest standards
• Development of procedures for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OH&S 18001 accreditation and implementation of procedures to meet health & safety and environmental standards
Responsible for overall management of design& build and facility management contracts, reported to the General Manager and managed a team of 5 engineers, 40 technicians a with total contract value of 6.5 million USD.
Responsibilities:
• Coordination with the main contractor and client during the various phases of the construction and maintenance projects.
• Coordination with planning, procurement departments to ensure the projects delivered on time and within the budget.
• Cost and resource analysis to ensure the resources are utilized effectively. Tracking as built quantities and reviewing of methods to improve productivity.
• Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF), New Runway and Taxiway Project; Design package for the airfield ground lighting, 11kV substations and control systems for tower control.
• US Air Force; Apron airfield ground lighting, apron floodlighting, aircraft static grounding works and fuel distribution system for aircrafts.
• Doha Intl. Airport, East Apron Design& build contract for apron floodlighting and airfield ground lighting including electrical substation.
• Doha Intl. Airport, Upgrade works for runway air ground lighting system.
• QEAF, Design& Build contract for building security and building management systems, MATV system, 148 buildings including 150 km fiber optic high security network

• QEAF, Maintenance of facilities project, O&M contract for 105 buildings including office buildings, aircraft hangar and workshop buildings
Responsible for chemical tanker construction (electrical-mechanical systems), reported to the Project Manager and managed 3 sub-contractors with total project value of 7.6 million USD
Responsibilities:
• Management of planning, design activities and coordination between the sub-contractors to prevent re-work.
• Assessment and approval of change requests by the sub-contractors. Coordination with contracts department for technical support during the variation orders and claim process.
• Coordination with client, classification societies to ensure project design meets the requirements of client and latest specifications & IMO regulations.
• Coordination of installation & commissioning of systems such as power generators, thermal boilers; sewage treatment, desalination, refrigeration and HVAC, electronic monitoring and alarm systems, engine and fuel control, tank gauging and navigational& communication systems.
Responsibilities:
• Development & implementation of maintenance& safety program for company owned chemical tankers for electrical and mechanical equipment as per BP & Shell regulations
• Carry out regular visits to ships to supervise the maintenance works and hands on experience of maintenance works for power generators, pumps, DC/AC and AC/DC converters, thermal boilers, sewage treatment, desalination, refrigeration & HVAC, engine control systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Planning/supervising the maintenance carried out by shipyards in China and coordination of approvals from classification society
Assisting to MEP Project manager on construction site for 3 high rise building& shopping mall construction project
Preparation of electrical shop drawings, coordination with client for approval, supervision of works carried out on site
As a project in university, I made an research on SCADA system installed on Istanbul’s main electrical distribution system. Also developed a program to analyse data gathered by Siemens’ power monitoring equipment. Attended trainings for - Airfield ground lighting systems design as per ICAO standards, - Practical Use of FIDIC Conditions of Contract, - Building management systems by Johnson Controls, - Attended training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001
