Responsibilities:

• Project management and supervision for airfield electrical systems such as visual aids, instrument landing system, weather system, high mast lighting, 11kV substation and HV systems.

• Supervision of design activities for airfield systems with compliance to ICAO and FAA standards.

• Project management and supervision for electronic security systems such as perimeter fence detection, thermal imaging and ground radar surveillance, building security and building management system, CCTV, access control system including the supervision of design activities as per relevant military standards.

• Review of materials and method statements and assisting contractor in developing methods to overcome difficulties and coordination of works with the contractor.

• Review and coordination of project schedule for timely completion of works, preparation of technical reports for the client

• Coordination with the client, end user and the contractor during the design, construction and hand over phases to ensure smooth transition to operations.

• Preparation of concept designs, tender packages and new specifications for future works related to electronic security systems.
• Review of variations and claims and preparation of technical assessment based on project specifications, QCS and other international regulations.

Responsible for Master Community Services at The Pearl Qatar, reported to TPQ Account Manager, managed a team of 4 engineers, 45 technicians and specialized sub-contractors. Contract value of 5.2 million USD per annum.

Responsibilities:

• O&M of infrastructure and utilities such as LPG plants, fuel pump stations and fuel system for marina, sewage treatment plant, RO plant, pump stations, electrical substations, chillers, roads and street lighting systems and management of contracts for soft service and landscaping deliverables.

• Budget preparation and monthly budget reviews for the contracts, implementation of energy saving and cost reduction initiatives, total value of cost savings realized 550.000 USD per annum.

• Management of taking over process of projects from the contractors and DLP management during defect liability period.

• Implementation of preventive maintenance regime to upkeep the services and facilities to highest standards

• Development of procedures for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OH&S 18001 accreditation and implementation of procedures to meet health & safety and environmental standards
