ITIL
•Developing a customized ITIL framework for services that are provided by Gerry’s dnata IT Department to its internal customers.
PRINCE 2
•Working on ERDs on a PRINCE 2 business model for any projects that are to be introduced and inducted into the company. This will be going to get done first time in the world for a project.
IT Auditing & Identification of GAPS
•Developing a strategy on which Gerry’s dnata will continue to audit its services in relation to its internal and external customers. Thus, it will be able to identify gaps both at internal and external customer end and going to get them plugged for better service quality alongside controlled inventory valuations.
Marhaba Lounge Feedback Form and Visitors Log.
•Helping develop a product for Marhaba Lounge customers that will help them improve their service quality and log visitors logs digitally for the first time. This will help save them lots and lots of time.
Facilitation in BRAIN Inception and becoming a WIRE
•Have helped developed BRAIN for the first time in aviation industry in Pakistan under leadership of Mr. Rathod. Also, been nominated and accepted as part of a WIRE where am currently working on a ‘confidential university project’ for business revenue generation under team lead Ms. Hira.
Document Controls
•Currently working on multiple document controls in IT department where necessary updates are being recommended to our Manager - IT.
Facilitation in Recruitment of Talented IT Staff
•Currently working towards developing and designing IT policies that will automate each of its process in form of a ‘Service Desk +’ software under recommendation of Manager - IT. Using talented interns to do this job without adding additional cost to IT cost center in support from HR.
Implementation of ‘lost’ Ticketing System
•After recruitment, one of the major gap identified was lack of use of a ticketing system. Helped made sure that every request comes from a digital ticketing system via IT Ops. Thus, making sure every ticket is being immediately acted upon by required IT staff.
GDPR
•Developed a strategy for GDPR implementation and is under review of Manager - IT. If implemented, Gerry’s dnata will be the first company in Pakistan that will also be GDPR compliant.
IT Structuring
•Designed a complete IT re-structure with approval from Manager - IT. Helped identify new positions and roles within IT Department as per modern-day requirements.
