The focus of my research is to control and optimize sustainable supply chain processes and operations by modeling and developing environment-friendly inventory management practices. I develop policies for optimal control of inventory using the Economic Production method, which answers the question of how much to order or how much to produce in the case of Make-to-stock production systems. Furthermore, my expertise includes developing transportation network design in case of multiple production and warehouses; I can design the most cost-effective method of assigning a particular production facility to the specific warehouse to reduce cost.
