Provided both operational and project leadership in design and construction on different varieties of projects from new residential and mixed-use projects, to renovation and alterations level 1, 2 & 3 of large residential complexes, hotels, and historic preservation projects.
Acting as Senior Team Leader;
- I correctly staffed and directed a team of architects and consultants;
- Authored proposals (to include time and design fee estimation);
- Oversaw the project and financial schedules;
- Led weekly meetings;
- Prepared monthly invoices;
- Supervised and coordinated the graphic documents preparation
- Coordinated all the project’s phases from the early concept design to the final construction documents, permit assistance and construction administration;
- Modified / adapted the specifications;
- Monitored the overall project progress, discovering critical issues impacting the construction costs and schedule, and maintaining project financials and profitability.
Provided both operational and project leadership in design and construction. Provided team leadership in designing Educational, Institutional and Residential facilities. Special emphasis Historic Preservation. Acting as senior design manager, I directed a staff of architects and consultants, project budgets and design production schedules.
Contribution in design and construction of healthcare and governmental facilities. Acting as a Project Architect / Manager, I participated in design and coordinated with senior engineers, oversaw the A/E team meetings with General Contractors and the client. Special emphasis in Laboratories (for NIH) and Government projects (for GSA).
Contribution in design and construction of public and private projects including numerous residential projects for DC Housing Authority and religious project (a Hindu Temple).
