Key responsibilities
• Compliance and Enforcement of all Health, Safety and Environmental Issues, OSHA compliance, record keeping, preparation.
• Establish a process to verify that corrective action, as a result of incident investigations are documented and implemented.
• The main purpose of all incident and near miss investigations is to prevent a similar recurrence.
• Corporate Safety Meetings for all hands, and other communications to keep Safety Marshalls updated and informed of changes related to HSE.
• As our company working as a subcontractor so review and understand contractual obligations regarding HSE roles and responsibilities.
• Attending the HSE meetings and weekly safety walk from the contractor and consultant.
• Making sure all the employees working on the site have the appropriate level of HSE training, medical surveillance, including required specialty training like driving a scissor lift, fall protection, work at height, confined space entry.
• Making sure no lone working on the site.
• Safety inspection on the daily basis to make sure HSE procedures being followed.
• Conducting weekly Tool Box Talk.
• Making sure every required document is on site, i-e COSSH, Risk Assessment, Method statement, SDS.
Key responsibilities for CINQO Epoxy:
• Execute Hazards from the workplace.
• Ensure that everyone use the mandatory and appropriate PPE for performing each type of work.
• Minimum personnel in the area while operations are being carried out.
• At the start of each work for any relevant activity on hand the daily “pre-start talks” and safe working instructions 1-2 times per week will be done at site.
• Referring to the approved health and safety plan.
• Material mobilization and demobilization to the site.
• Handling hazardous substances, substance storage, noise vibration and production of aerosols, mists and vapour.
• Manual handling of material and tools.
• Safe Epoxy coating works.
• Controlling Dust entering eyes and breathing system.
• Stop lone working.
• Monitoring fuel storage, refuelling, and safe usage of spill kits.
• Worker’s questionnaire forms.
• Making MSDS of all the chemicals related to work and setting up store for chemicals.
Key responsibilities for CINQO Construction W.L.L:
• Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.
• Inspecting production equipment’s and processes to make sure they are safe.
• Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use, if found ordering repairs for unsafe and or damage equipment.
• Ensuring all sites following all HSE policies and procedures.
• Discussing all HSE concerns to Project Manager and Site Engineer where required.
• Conducting toolbox meetings.
• Investigating accident, near miss and finding the root cause to rectify and avoid reoccurrence.
• General Housekeeping.
• Work at height safe working procedure.
• Work Permit System that includes confined space, work at height, cold work.
• Closing out the observation raised by the consultant.
• Promotes safe practices at the job site.
• Enforcing safety guidelines.
• Trains and carry out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
• Responds to employee’s safety concerns.
• Watch out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
Key responsibilities:
• Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations.
• Recording and investigating accidents or incidents.
• Producing Complete Risk Assessment.
• Carrying out Hazards from the workplace.
• Tool Box Talk.
• Carrying out a joint assessment of the work with the contractor.
• Facility Management Supervision.
• Supervision of cleaning and disinfection, transport, housekeeping, maintenance, security and parking.
• Back-office front office facility management.
• Providing Precautionary Measures to avoid accidents.
• Monitoring Health and safety performances.
• Conducting training of workers to make sure they understand the risk.
• Ensuring workers have clear lines of communication to report concerns.
• Face to face meeting with contractor and sub-contractor regarding the health and safety.
• Creating analytical reports of safety data.
• Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
• Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
• Organized HSE workshops regarding Risk Assessment.
• Making training for our subcontractor new staff.
• Recording and investigating accidents or incidents
• Investigate accidents and dangerous occurrences.
• Housekeeping.
• Vehicle inspection report.
Key responsibilities:
• Identifying the site hazards and excavation hazards.
• Enforce Safe Work Practices.
• Promote Quick Return to Work.
• Communication with workers if they need any help regarding health and safety.
• Maintain job site performance records.
• Making sure there is enough welfare facilities.
• Ensuring that all equipment’s are safe and secure state when left unattended.
• Reminding the management replenish first aid boxes at regular intervals.
• Report to immediate supervisor on any defects and ensure any unsafe equipment are not used on the worksite.
• Discourage horseplay and reprimand those who fail to consider their own safety and that of others.
• Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are used whenever appropriate.
• Take all reasonable steps to prevent workers from taking risks.
• Serving as the first responded to and investigator of safety incidents and mishaps.
