as Finance Officer in my organization my duties and responsibilities are
1. Updating the records of PSI /E related Financial Transactions on Quick Book Enterprise Software (QBE) which is directly integrated with PSI /Washington.
2. Follow-up the budget utilization of Local Implementing Partners for MULU project.
3. Disburse funds to Suppliers, Vendors, Customers and LIPs based on the submitted valid documents.
4. Follow-up for the claim of VAT receivable from Government for USAID and CDC projects.
5. Participate on the annual as well as monthly inventory counts of the PSI main warehouse at Addis Ababa.
6. Taking part on the monthly financial report preparation and annual consolidations
7. Any other business given by my immediate supervisor
My position on the MoFED is working for Productive Safety Net Program which funded in many International Donors (WB, DFID, Irish Aid, WFP, CIDA and USAID). As project accountant I have duties and responsibilities for the financial and budget management of the program.
I graduate B.A Degree in accounting and Auditing. In addition to my degree I have completed 9 ACCA papers (the 1st four papers are excepted and the the last 5 papers are completed by taking ACCA exams). I also waiting the result for p2 exam in this term.
