• Performs direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living and hygiene needs, and obtaining certain lab specimens.
• Charts observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient’s condition.
• Escorts patients to and from various destinations.
• Assists in maintaining and providing a clean, safe environment.
• Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
• Participates in follow-up activities and tracking clients, schedule appointments and performs other related
tasks.
• Assisting ENT Doctor during procedures.
• Undertaking accurate and complete documentation to prevent any rejection from insurance.
• Assist physician during consultation, follow-up and other medical procedures.
• Prepares and administer (oral, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, and through I.V.) and records prescribed medication.
• Initiates patient educational plan as prescribed by the physician. Teaches patient and significant others how to manage their illness by explaining post treatment home care needs.
• Disinfects and sterilizes medical instruments and maintains record.
• Charts accurately the medication and treatment given.
• Performs other duties as delegated by superior.
• Performs and exercise nursing care to patients such as administration of medication, observes and take notes of prescription, takes patients vital signs, attends and assists physician during minor operation.
• Set-up and prepares medical instruments and equipment’s needed in the consultation and treatment of patients and sterilized the same before and after usage.
• Assists doctor in conducting medical services and prepares referral to secondary level.
• Conducts home visit together with the doctor.
• Takes appropriate action in emergency situation.
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients/ families and elicit their participation in care.
• Ensures patients confidentiality.
• Does other related duties from time to time as ordered by the higher health care supervisor.
