• Represent the company as the main contact person responsible to the consultant, client & main contractors.
• To co-ordinate and manage site supervision, with the Site Foreman, Laborers on daily work progression.
• To maintain daily report on progression of each site works to Operations Manager.
• Planning the necessary resources needed for the project.
• Preparing and follow up with Engineering Department.
• Distributing the work on subcontractor based on the specs, budget and schedule and capability.
• Coordinating the subcontractors regarding manpower and site work progress.
• Checking the availability of materials for two weeks look ahead and preparing the material request.
• Updating the Project Manager on the progress of the project.
• To assist the company’s technical team to prepare shop drawings and submittals.
• To assist QS in preparation of progress payment claims and certificates.
• Study of Drawings, Specifications and BOQ.
• Hand Over and Close out works including Snagging,
• Arrange Final Inspections for the handover of the project.
• Assisting in tender and BOQ preparation.
Site Engineer in Thermofire Middle East Ltd: (from January2011 until Jan 2013)
Role Details
• To record and report progress on site to Operations Manager.
• To assist QS in preparation of progress payment claims and certificates.
• We do passive fire protection, thermal insulation and fire stopping works.
• Applying fire sealant on the slab/wall joints and MEP services of the building not allowing the fire to pass from one zone to another.
• Spraying fire proofing materials on the steel structures.
