Take the lead role in analyzing the customer Request for Quotation/
Proposal (RFQ/RFP) for different sectors and develops the projects
related to new business in terms of solution design, costing, pricing,
capex and presentation.
• Interfaces with the customer and other departments to gather
information and provide input in response to the RFQ/RFP and
Request for Information.
• Prepares technical presentations and commercial proposals that
effectively communicate the logistics solutions to the customer.
• Supports implementation of client solutions for new customers.
• Evaluates activities of existing customers and identify potential
opportunities for improvements, including analyzing rates, costs and
storage solutions.
• Successfully manage implementation of Network Distribution
Optimization Project for a leading Healthcare company.
• Lead set-up of the Healthcare Warehouse and Good Storage
Practice (GSP) accreditation from Ministry of Health.
Implements and monitors processes in the Supply Chain Division
with a view to optimize efficiency and improve quality of work flows
ensuring a higher level customers satisfaction and cost efficiency
Designs racking and storage systems and warehouse layout plans
for optimum warehouse utilization and productivity
• Works on proposal including solution engineering, cost calculation for
warehousing solutions, equipment and manpower.
• Requests quotation from suppliers for price comparisons, negotiate
price offer and prepare a comparative abstract of offer and
recommend the most cost-effective purchase of racking and shelving
systems, storage accessories, and material handling equipment
• Manage and direct all activities to achieve an effective and systematic warehousing and distribution of merchandise (apparel and accessories) nationwide within reasonable cost and maximum service level by ensuring accuracy in inventory and order-picking activities.
• Formulates, recommend and lead the implementation of the warehousing and distribution policies.
• Prepare plans, programs and budgets of the department to achieve the desired objective.
• Define work assignments, store delivery schedules and warehouse space allocation.
• Manage and plan the repair and preventive maintenance of delivery vehicles.
• Plan and coordinates the annual physical inventory count and the reconciliation of inventory records.
• Review list of obsolete, non-moving and unnecessary inventory items and recommends for disposal.
• Lead accreditation and evaluation of Freight Forwarders.
• Review and approve inventory levels, order quantities and related inventory control measures for office supplies and construction materials.
Conduct Business Process Review and documentation in line with the Organizational Development and Transformation Project of the hospital
-->Lead process redesign to improve customer service (quality, flexibility, service levels) and raise productivity (reduce cycle time and cost), including implementation of IT solutions
--> Undertake business process re-engineering to design and implement changes to core technical/sector business processes such as Water Service Connection, Metering, Leakage Detection and Leak Repair and Work and Resource Management.
--> Undertake comprehensive mapping and analysis of current business process, develop and recommend new re-design process, organization structure in the areas of purchasing, warehouse automation, inventory and distribution planning and fleet management.
Responsible for developing alternative ways to improve systems and procedures, office forms, and equipment usage; and develops and recommends operating standards and policy in relation to work, qualifications, performance, and safety, for the purpose of establishing improved methods of operation
