1. Standardize processes of project scheduling, monitoring and cost control to achieve the following
a. Prepare & submit Project Financial Status to management
b. Prepare revised EAC on routine basis by coordinating with various Cross Functional teams
2. Conduct meetings and advise management about process improvement and optimization.
3. Coach, mentor and lead team of planners and the project management persons to establish project schedule, track and control EPC projects in P6 by to achieve the following.
● Develop plan for the awarded project to achieve completion within the contractual milestone dates.
● Preparation of project times schedule with resources in primavera P6 with proper WBS, generate S curve and cash flow.
● Routine progress & resources updates
● Identify variances, incorporate mitigation plans with project managers and generate recovery plan / schedule
● Preparation of client weekly, monthly reports and presentations.
4. Conduct detailed internal bi-weekly project review meeting with project stakeholders. Review critical path, critical activities, productivity, established KPIs and identify actions for implementation to keep the project on track.
5. Mentor and coach, the planners and project management persons on planning / scheduling and control methods & techniques

Tasks:
Manage design, procurement, construction, testing / commissioning and close out works for all disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Protection & SAS)
Design approval, procurement document reviews, subcontractor selection
Execution planning, time schedule preparation using primavera P6, Variance analysis, preventive/corrective actions, reporting in compliance with EVM system, stakeholder management
Organize and lead meetings with consultant and contractors to discuss issue affecting Project progress.
Prepare presentations/reports for the senior management to highlight project progress and issues.
Ensure the proper approval of baseline schedule for project.
Risk management, project monitoring as per performance measurement baselines
Implementation of organization’s HSE policy.
Hand over and contractual closing of projects.
Major Equipment: Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) 380kV/132kV, Medium Voltage Switchgear 33kV & 13.8kV, Low Voltage distribution panels. Power Transformers 500MVA (380/132kV), 100MVA(132kV/33kV), Auxiliary Transformers. Relay & Control Panels, Substation Automation System, SCADA, Fiber optic communication System, CCTV security System, Access Control System, HVAC system with PACU and complete automation, Indoor/outdoor/emergency lighting system, Low Voltage, Medium Voltage &High Voltage cables with cable trays & supports. Fiber optic pigtails & FO backbone cables. 125V DC battery bank and charger system. Fire Alarm, Fire suppression and Firefighting systems. 132kV & 380kV Gantries and Transmission line towers for overhead Transmission line loop in - out. Lightning protection.

High Voltage & Extra High Voltage GIS halls, Substation Control Building, Medium Voltage switchgear building, Power Transformer foundations, Fire Hydrant equipment room, Cable basements, Cable tunnels, Cable Duct banks, Fiber optic duct bank, manholes, hand holes, cable trenches, boundary walls, gates, and security room. Asphalt laying in substation area and access roads.
Testing/commissioning works
Testing of all the mentioned major equipment under vendor’s supervision and by approved third party testing companies.

1. Project management as client for all the above-mentioned projects. Facilitate projects in all the phases starting from initiating until close out for all the disciplines - Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Protection and SAS.
2. Monitor & Control project work. Schedule and cost variance analysis, recommend preventive / corrective actions. Manage project in line with performance measurement baselines. Review change requests for approval. Guide contractors about positive/negative risks. Coordinate critical outage activities for task completion under strict deadlines.
3. Review and accept project deliverables. Certify for vendor payments.

Tasks:
1. Visit 132kV transmission substations for periodic checks of outdoor and indoor major equipment as per PDO format. Visual check of outdoor equipment for potential flashover points or hot spots
2. Cleaning and maintenance of battery room and switchyard
3. Collecting required operations data, top-up SF6 gas in High voltage circuit breakers.
4. Periodic protection relay testing works as part of preventive maintenance.

Tasks :
1. Perform operations on medium voltage, low voltage switchgear.
2. Carry out electrical, mechanical, I&C isolations and implement lock out/ tag out (LOTO) for providing safety clearances and issuing permit to work.
3. Provide routine operation support to the power generation plant and its electrical distribution systems
4. Personally supervise works in hazardous areas, ensure full compliance to safety requirements.
