I was the headteacher, responsible for the instruction of the English language for both children and adults’ groups, creation and administration of the teaching material, books and exams, as well as taking part into the interviewing process of new staff.
I also assisted creating their official website, answered enquires of parents and students on The Egyptian Campus face-to-face and through social media, and conducted placement exams for new students.
Souriana team is the first all-Syrian basketball team in Germany and I am the first journalist who got in touch with them through my contacts.
I interviewed the team’s coach, Mahmoud Al-Abed, also conducted interviews with each player and attended their training and games on their first year.
I was fully responsible for the layout design and production of the fall 2016 seasonal magazine and of the multimedia production for their social media platforms.
I assisted and covered BL’s pre-season games, training and summer events for media related activities. I also attended staff meetings and worked with EVL marketing team and BL’s sponsors.
I was responsible for pitching and producing stories on a weekly basis to do with life on-campus of international teachers and students of the university while promoting the international face and various opportunities that GDUFS offers.
I was responsible for representing the SCCSC by organizing and hosting meetings and social events with international executives, introducing the Chamber’s latest activities and business treaties, promoting Spanish brands in the Chinese market and translating, editing and writing official documents and multimedia.
