The Water Supply and Wastewater System of the Slatina Agglomeration & Beli Manastır Wastewater Treatment Plant Project EU Funded Projects - Project Control Manager
The works under the Project represent the largest segment of the Slatina Agglomeration project, which includes the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of water and communal infrastructure in Slatina and seven suburbs. The project includes the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of 62 kilometers of sewerage network, construction and reconstruction of 12 kilometers of water supply network, construction of preparation for 2071 house connection to the sewerage system, construction of four rain spills and 33 pumping stations. Also, a new water reservoir with a capacity of one thousand cubic meters will be built and preparations will be made for 989 house connections to the water supply network. The Project is FIDIC Red Book and financed by European Union FunFunding.Establish risk management protocol which includes identification, documentation, mitigation and tracking of potential risks on the project. In addition, determine potential cost and schedule/progress impacts of potential risks as they are identified.
- Establish and manage project schedule development, review and update processes and to ensure accuracy and alignment with the overall master schedule.
- Identify and communicate design changes, scope changes and schedule slippages and potential impacts and participate in the identification of mitigations. Ensure trends of cost and schedule are identified, manage change management process and communicate and suggest corrective actions.
- To follow up on proposals, reviews, and negotiations for the timely execution of contracts and purchase orders.
- Track proposal reviews, negotiations and contract execution. Managing & coordinating and tracking the supplier delivery plan to ensure suppliers meet the demand per the plan.
Interact with the Project Management team and corporate management team and participate in regular project meetings.
- To provide reports for the progress and status of SOWs open for long periods. Coordination of closure of POs at project-end and keeping track of work orders status. Periodically review financial reports to ensure compliance with budget targets, re-conciliation of project charges against approved contracts and support gathering data related to unit costs within sites.
- Perform contract administration of contracts based on FIDIC Contracts (Slatina is Red Book 1999, Beli Manastır is Yellow Book including local procurement procedures),
- The Managing Contract Administration Department comprised of local and expatriate claim and contract specialists.
- Examine and review the contract documentation, claims and procedures in accordance with the requirements.
- Mentor and lead a large staff of project controls team members, ensure project is staffed appropriately, conduct regular staff performance reviews and manage any staffing issues that may arise.

The New Central Bank building would be situated on Heydar Aliyev Avenue, one of the top locations in Baku, close to three buildings have already completed by Tekfen Construction all, which received the most highly respected prizes of ‘Best Project’ and ‘Award of Merit’ listings in their respective categories from the ENR Global Best Project Awards organization: the Baku Olympic Stadium, the SOCAR Tower and the Azerbaijan Ministry of Taxes Tower. The project covered the construction of a new 37-storey building for the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. The turnkey project, which was for a tower 168 meters high on a site with a total area of 67, 981 square meters, was due to be completed in 36 months.
- Delivering the project on time, within budget and in compliance with the charter’s terms and conditions with a full understanding of scope, all fit-out, joinery and architectural finishes.

Design and Build Contract for the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Line from Morogoro to Makutopora (MDM Project) Phase 2 / Construction Manager
As Construction Manager, management and coordination have done during the design and construction project in LOT-2, MDM, which had also contracted to the Yapi Merkezi. This section stretches from Morogoro through Dodoma to Makutopora in Singida. The stations after Morogoro will be 8 No’s: Mkata, Kilosa, Kidete, Gulwe, Igunda, Dodoma, Bahi and Makutopora. Phase 2 of the Tanzania standard gauge railway (SGR) had been designed for passenger trains with speeds of 160km/h and freight trains with a top speed of 120km/h. The segment, LOT 2, has eight stations including a dry port at Ruvu. The contract involves the following.
- The Project was a FIDIC Yellow book.
- The Client was Tanzania Railways Corporation (TRC) and Consultant: Korail JV
- Project Cost: $2 billion.
- Track length: 333 Km Main Line and 81 km siding/passing; 414 Km.
- Maintenance: Workshop Facilities at Marshalling Yard.
- 4 Tunnels (approx. 2622 meters).
- 168 No’s of Bridges, Overpass, Underpass, Livestock, 646 No’s Culvert approx. 21, 791 meters., Approx. 55, 7 mil. m3
- Design development, and coordination. Planning of design and construction process.

Al Wakrah Stadium & Precinct Main Works and Masterplan Project - (€ 587.3 Million) Midmac - PORR - Sixco JV (MPSJV) 17.08.2018-15.08.2019 Site Manager
Al Wakrah Stadium would be incorporated into the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. The client is the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. Design, engineering, construction, testing, commissioning and completion of a 40, 000-seat two-tiers FIFA compliant Stadium. The stadium had a tournament capacity of 40, 000 spectators during the games and, by using modular best practice design, the number had reduced to 20, 000 spectators for the legacy program in Qatar. Another significant element of the design project was the merging of cooling technology systems with climate-control requirements for renewable energy production.
My responsibilities in this project:
The project site has been divided into a two-parts pitch area and precinct-external works zone. As site manager for both the design & construction of the external works (375, 000 m2) - public space that also contains VVIP/VIP/Hospitality level - of the project was designed & constructed with.
Two training fields cooled to 26 degrees with the above-mentioned integration of cooling-technology system,
Two indoor halls, Four tennis courts, Two basketball pitches,
Various sporting facilities, including a cycling and running track, horse riding areas and other green spaces.
Temporary Rest rooms all around the stadium, which will serve during 2022 FIFA World Cup and then these facilities will be removed by the time reducing 20, 000 seats.
In addition, a community market (4000 m2), and community facilities, such as a mosque and scschool Also, a 10, 000 sqm retail complex is planned & constructed.
Car Parks were designed and constructed in this level, which serve to full capacity of the stadium.
The pitch: The turf used for the playing surface was grown at the turf farm that was placed in external works area.
Including masterplan works, and retails, energy center, infrastructure, landscaping, utilities and asphalt road works, and concrete interlocking pavement lines within the site. Work also includes all MEP works and interface between the disciplines.
For the soon future as an extension of the design, there will be a four-star 150room hotel.

The contract involved constructing 3 post-tensioned in-situ bridges, 17 multi-span main bridges, 30 underpass/subway/culvert structures and 150, 000m2 of MSE walls. Responsible for both structure and MSE contracts including P & L.
Doha Metro Track Works Project - 18.10.2015 - 17.08.2017 Site Manager
Doha Metro Track Work Project (250 Mn. USD) Responsible as Site Manager for the design and construction of 172 km (344 km rail installation) of the Doha Metro Track Work project. Within the scope of phase 1 of the Metro Doha project, four underground lines have been constructed.
The track system was designed as ballast-less track system STA (Slab Track Austria) including sections of mass-spring systems. The planning & execution of tracks has comprised eight (8) sections, such as tunnels, at-grade and bridges. In addition to the main tracks, turnout areas and the associated transition areas were established. As a basis for slab track design the existing alignment was revised and optimized.

As a Senior Project Engineer, construction works at Viaduct - Site 2, Office Area of JV and QRail - Site 4, MLPA Plant, Material Laying Area -Site 3, such as formwork fabrication for viaduct, concrete casting pre-cast beams at Site 3, construction of slab deck, pier caps, foundations & columns at piers, erection of scaffold.
Supervise/coordinate onsite construction as per QRail guidelines and project heads instructions, support the engineering activities if required to ensure the activities are integrated with the execution sequences, review ITP and MoS, prepare the required reports for the project progress during the construction phase, monitor construction progress and ensure that site activities and equipment items (and associated components) are installed according to approved milestones, participate in bid evaluations/clarifications to address the best practices and resource requirements, facilitate constructability & operability workshops to address all project concerns and requirements to be address during downstream activities, conduct site visits to verify the best construction practices are followed and advise Project Teams on improvements needed, participate in 3D-Model reviews to ensure best practices are addressed in ensuring smooth construction phase, review invoices of subcontractors and vendors and provide management with approval comments and recommendations of payment, responsible for mentoring, guiding, and measuring performance of any subordinates, monitoring/supervising the documentation to reflect the "as build" condition as required and verified by the concerned discipline engineering, updates the drawings/documents along with CAD Operators.

Al Nariyah Depot and Workshop Project, which was undertaken by Yapi Merkezi Saudi Co. as the Main Contractor. A Government-funded $165 million, new build heavy goods train maintenance depot in a remote desert location. Within the scope of the project;
Locomotive and wagon maintenance shop, general stores, fueling system, 4 generator rooms, paint shop, wagon washing facility, yard facility, and track & signal maintenance units and Hostel are being constructed by Yapi Merkezi Saudi Co.
23 New steel framed buildings, comprising of Locomotive Works Shops (15, 000 sqm),
Wheel Shops, Bearing Shops, Wagon maintained areas (14000 sq. m), stores.
Installation of supporting statutory services, operational equipment for maintenance of freight, (portal wheel lathes, underfloor wheel lathes, bogey drop table, train carriage lifting system) roads, drainage, water treatment, power generating plant, 1.2 million liters heavy oil refueling system, permanent workforce accommodation for 300 technical staff.
Essentially a small self-contained village in what was barren desert, had been constructed by Yapi Merkezi Saudi Co.
Full Engineers delegated powers under F.I.D.I.C 1999 Red Book over Contractor with 1000 + persons on-site workforce.
