Key responsibilities
• To deliver high quality English language learning and teaching using an appropriate range of up to date methods.
• To be familiar with the Module Specifications relating to the teaching.

• To work with the module team to review the module and participate in the Department's Annual Development Cycle.
• To participate in the Professional Development Review process, including lesson observations, and
to join appropriate training events and professional development programmes.
• To participate effectively in Core Groups for the enhancement and development of the Department.
• To provide assistance to students via the English Department Writing Centre.
• To maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students.
• To attend regularly and punctually.
• To invigilate examinations.
• To attend regular team and Departmental meetings.
• To assist with conferences as deemed appropriate.
• To use and develop e-learning effectively to support learning and teaching.
• To contribute to the marketing, recruitment and development of the University.
• To carry out other duties as deemed appropriate by the HOD, including covering classes for absent colleagues.
Key achievement/projects
• Was chosen as member of the British University`s English Department team responsible for developing a Teacher Training Program aimed to improve the teaching skills of governmental school teachers, the program proposal was submitted to the IATEFL Grant Proposal committee
