Created Service Documentation like System Installation, Repair Manual for Philips Medical devices.
Involved in the content migration project with the key focus on understanding the information type and the existing content structure. Implemented all engineering change orders in accordance with the defined configuration management process.
Produce quality, relevant service information including conceptual overviews, objective based tasks, faultfinding, and planned maintenance. Delivery of Interactive 3D PDF Manual for European Coating Machine manufacturer. Overseeing the content of 3D PDF manual like Text, Images and animations for brevity and final message.
Visited Finland as part of a 4-member business analysis team, to identify the current documentation maturity level and propose a future roadmap to an equipment manufacturer.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Delivery of Business process documentation in collaboration with business process analyst and stakeholders.
•Planned and worked with the stakeholders to identify and finalize the scope of processes.
•Do As-is study of existing operational processes with the business analyst.
•Coordinated with the business analyst in development of streamlined To -be processes and supporting documentation (Process description, Activity Description, RACI).

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Delivery of Service Manuals of self and team as per the company targets.
•Usage of Technical Publications Workflow System for tracking of work order at all stages.
•Attend Service Department meetings to collate information required for the service manuals.
•Attend project review meetings with offshore and onsite managers.
•Training and skills development of new authors. Reviewing of team members deliverables for authoring format.
•Had an overseas assignment at JCB United Kingdom service division for a month to assist the UK team in project delivery and meet key stakeholders for future assignments.

Project: JCB Inc. (Onsite)
Key responsibility area: Authoring of Service Bulletins and Service Manuals for construction machines.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Read work orders, technical drawings and schematics.
•Proficient in Content Management System (CMS), which is a XML based authoring tool.
•Experience in Service Manual, Operator’s Handbook and Service Bulletins.
•Have created illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and done small changes to images in Adobe Photoshop.
•Use PLM for searching drawings and analyzing the assembly structure.
•Used Teamcentre for viewing models and create exploded views of assembly.
•Have good knowledge of how procedures are qualified and have created master structure of an entire manual based on the Parts Identification List (PIL) of JCB

Project: Rolls-Royce Deutschland
Key responsibility area: Technical Variance request analysis and Technical Variance authoring.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Read Technical Variance request, part drawings and schematics.
•Based on the requested variance wrote Technical Variance reports and repair procedures.
•Usage of project delivery tool (IPMS) for the workflow of the deliverable.
•Proficient in MS Word, an authoring platform for the Technical Variances of various gas turbine jet engines.
•Advised new repair schemes based on part drawing specifications and previous service experiences.
•Experience in EMM. Created new Inspection Tasks.
•Interaction with the on-site interface engineers to gather information and write accurate Technical Variances

Project: Bombardier Aerospace Technical Publication
Key responsibility area: Impact analysis, estimation and authoring in technical manuals of CRJ series of aircrafts.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Read work orders, technical drawings and schematics.
•Gathered/analyzed information, wrote, edited, and revised system descriptions, removal and installation procedures based on analysis of system and user requirements.
•Proficient in technical authoring tool Arbortext Editor which is a SGML based authoring platform.
•Experience in Illustrated Parts catalogue, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Structure Repair Manual, and Component Maintenance Manual.
•Created new illustrations markups and parts list in AIPC manual.
•Ample expertise in using SAP, a material and parts data, which is used for searching, revising and adding parts mainly for AIPC manual.
•Have done special project for AIPC and SRM manuals.
•Interacting with subject-matter experts to gather information and identify relevant data, and write procedures that are clear and user friendly.
