Planning, coordination, and support for Pipeline Projects division. As an Engineer I am responsible to provide engineering support for pipeline activities with other disciplines to ensure that components and equipment is maintained and refurbished correctly.
• Carried out Site Visits to determine the perfect route for the pipeline project.
• Responsible for following up the pipeline project from initiation till execution.
• Conduct weekly progress meetings with all parties to solve issues.
• Prepared Monthly update -progress presentations for senior managers.
• Prepared Land Used Permit (LUP) log weekly reports for senior managers.
• Prepared Turnover-Over notes Monthly reports for senior managers.
• Involved in the design of new pipelines and equipment’s needed, whilst at the same time taking account of cost, availability of materials, strength, reliability and maintenance requirements.
• Monitoring the smooth company exiting pipelines route and ways to develop it in the future.
• Attended several risk management and lessened learned sessions.
• Attended Quantitative Risk Assessment, Value Engineering, and
Responsible for all aspects of contract management, including proposal development, risk management and mitigation, specification compliance, scope development, transactional pricing, customer negotiations, customer communications and issue resolution
• Schedule, participate and where appropriate lead kick-off meetings.
• Distribute documents as appropriate and co-ordinate responses within agreed schedule.
• Ensure effective communication throughout proposal team and that the commercial manager is aware of any clarifications, qualifications and exceptions.
• Compile & issue proposals with clarifications to customers and distribute responses.
• Provide support to sales and where necessary participate in negotiations.
• Perform contract review and issue customer order acknowledgement.
• Prepare and conduct handover from ITO to OTR
• Provide accurate and timely reporting as required by customer and commercial team.
• Responsible for coordinating and planning daily maintenance and repair activities.
• Prepare risk schedules to identify and quantify risks and mitigation measures.
• Built a data base for mechanical equipment progress.
• Defined root causes for several installation matters.
• Daily on-site inspection, and installations for Pumps, Valves, and compressors
• Involved in walk-downs, punch listing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Repotting any NCR’s and bad practices to the senior managers.
• Attended daily progress meetings to discusses the current status and future plans.
• Involved in collecting KPI data’s with other discipline.
• Follow up - daily meetings with the EPC contractor.
• Conducted and attended weekly quality meetings.
• Done some inspections for static equipment’s.
• Revised and review standards and working manuals for each equipment.
• Created a trouble shoot tables and defined different factors of the troubles.
• Done vibration monitoring activities.
