Working at Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) as Reliability Mechanical Engineer mainly on Rotating Equipment. Now I am on Professional Development Programs (PDP) for new graduate and get assignments on Mechanical Work Shop (3 months), Working with field technicians (4 months) and now with instrument and electrical group to build technical background about mechanical parts (2 months). I learned in this assignment much about Rotating Equipments and their parts. Also I learn methods to repair them and best way to keep equipments reliable.
Working at Japanese Gas Cooperation (JGC- EPC Company) as Rotating Equipment Engineer. Our job to purchasing the equipment and reviewing the vendor Document as the agreed national standard (API, ASME, HI & Aramco standard).
Working at Saudi Kayan Utility & Offices Project as Project Engineer for storage tanks area where performing the following:
• Acting as focal point person for the client on the construction activities of API storage tanks for cooling water, crude oil, fire water and deminerilzed water; and spherical vessels for mixed butane.
• Coordinating construction for different types of API storage tanks including the following activities:
Welding
Insulation
Painting
Cathodic Protection
• Organizing the clearance and verification of punchlist items which resulted from project walkdowns
• Ensuring punchlist items are entered in project’s Turnover and Completions database (CIT)
• Performing QVD (Quality Verification Documents) reviews on contractor Turnover subsystem books
I learn more about generating power, turbines, pumps, vibrations & gears
I take the following courses as electives ME-482: Mechanical vibration ME-438: Pumping Machinery ME-480: Plastic Marital ME-436: Fluid Power System
