• Reduce environmental risks for member companies by responding to oil spill incidents, supervising clean-up operations, managing upkeep of the company base, and carrying out regular site inspections.
• Successfully completed Tier1 oil spill capability verification for two upstream oil and gas exploration companies at OML 113 and OML 125 located off the Nigerian coast deep water.
• Minimize occupational and worksite hazards by carrying out safety inspections, implementing safety recommendations, maintaining safety critical equipment register and adhering to HSE regulations.
• Increase adherence to HSE regulations and company’s policies by facilitating occupational health and safety training sessions and oil spill/fire drills, updating quality assurance plan, preparing health and safety documentation for new tenders, and performing risk assessments.

• Improved response time by all first-line response operations requiring Tier 2 oil spill competencies, and supervised oil spill response emergency planning.
• Maximized value for money by managing the inventory of company assets, and coordinated the crude oil volume forecasting during emergency response periods.
• Achieved compliance targets by implementing HSE interventions; implements KPI report recommendations; and utilized data from the reviewed Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and annual Safety Audit.
• Increased staff awareness and capacity around health and safety risks by facilitating training sessions that include emergency preparedness, and coordinated Toolbox and monthly HSE meetings.
