As the General Manager my responsibilities include to overlook;
• Plan marketing strategies to achieve maximum market exposure
• Take steps to minimize cost without compromising the quality and level of service
• Expanding business reach and proactively creating new leads/ opportunities
• Increase management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountability; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.
• Develop the strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
• Accomplish subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results in measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
• Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
• Build company’s image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
My responsibilities include providing valuations to the highest standards to the banks and individual clients in accordance with the highest international standards.
Setup of complete department from scratch and develop business activities related to valuations.
Increase market awareness and revenue to sustain the department financially.
My responsibilities includes providing Red Book valuations, advising owner occupiers, investors, developers, local government, public bodies, banks and lending institutions. Valuations executed are for accounting, secured lending purposes and acquisition purposes. Apart from real estate valuations, I have also gained reasonable experience in plant & machinery valuations.
My career initiated in Dubai with Hamptons International Dubai since Feb ’07 during which the property market grew to its maximum before the financial crisis. The nature of the business is to observe and collect the transactional evidence and to provide valuations according to the Red Book of Valuation Standards (6th edition).
Experience ranges from single or multi-tenanted properties to complex portfolios including; mixed-use, office, retail, industrial, residential and specialized building properties. My experiences apart from UAE based properties also include valuations for various properties
in Kuwait, Jordan and Qatar.
Responsibilities also included assisting the Administration Department setting out formats and templates to standardize work-flow.
