Position: Safety Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible that the company HSE plans is successfully implemented.
• Conduct Risk Assessment & implement solutions.
• Issue permit to work (PTW) before daily work starts.
• Deliver HSE induction to all personnel on site on various activities.
• Ensure that First Aid and Occupational Health arrangements are maintain, monitor & review.
• Conduct Tool Box Talk (TBT) regularly before work commence.
• Checking all fire extinguishers & ladders on site to ensure safety & in good condition.
• Ensure good housekeeping is observed daily before & after work.
• Issue safety violation notice for non-compliance personnel.
• Prepare Job Hazard Analysis for specific job.
• Attend safety meeting with client & consultants
• Prepare monthly audit report
• Safety inspection for all moving & lifting equipment
• Conduct routine inspection of workplace at all times.
• Check quarterly full body harness & lanyards
• Responsible for monitoring & assessing hazardous & unsafe situations & developing measures to assure personnel safety.
• Will correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although may exercise authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required.
• Ensures there are safety measures in each incident Action Plan.
