Responsible for overseeing all HR, Administration, IT and Facilities aspects on the Afghan National Police Project in Afghanistan. Ensuring that all resources such as manpower, materials, methods and procedures are followed and utilised effectively and efficiently. Ensured that all operational sites throughout Afghanistan received project support and guidance from an IT, Admin, Facilities Management and HR perspective.
Acted as an HR business partner to ensure effective alignment between business and Human Resource strategies. This included all general aspects of Human Resource management in all subsidiary companies in relation to;
- Human Resource cost and risk management.
- Performance and Talent management.
- Representing the company at CCMA and National Bargaining Council.
- Acting in an advisory role in terms of Labour Law and general employment practices to franchise owners.
- Conducting training to members of management and staff (various topics covered).
- Drafting and implementing Company Disciplinary Rules and Procedures. (Disciplinary code.)
- Handling all negotiation aspects with union at CW Pharmaceuticals - Highly unionised environment. (Industrial relations / dispute resolution at all levels.)
- Ensure strategic alignment of Recruitment process and screening of staff nationally.
- Preparation and presentation of HR reports at executive level.
- Dealing with all aspects pertaining to contracts of employment and general Labour Law matters.
- Drafting and submission of WSP to Department of Labour.
- Conducting climate studies and company surveys as may be required from time to time.
- Full responsibility for Occupational Health and Safety.
- Human Resource cost and risk management.
- Performance and Talent management.
- Representing the company at CCMA.
- Conducting training to members of management and staff.
- Preparation and presentation of HR reports.
- Dealing with all aspects pertaining to contracts of employment and general Labour Law matters.
- Full responsibility for Occupational Health and Safety.
- Services rendered in numerous regions throughout South Africa including Limpopo, Mpumahlanga, Gauteng, Western Cape and the West Coast areas within Checkers, Shoprite, Hungry Lion and U-Save stores.
- Dealing with all aspects of HR within the designated regions.
4 Year full time degree with amongst others the following subjects: - Human Resource Management - Strategic Management - Training Management - Business Economics - Labour Law - Statistical Methods - Research Methodology - Business Communication - Industrial Relations
