- Perform site visits and conduct observation to generate reports and action plan for unsafe activities in site.
- Ensure that the workers are protected by monitoring PPE use, tools and equipments are fit for purpose and if non-conformance is found, immediate actions are carried out.
- Lay down foundations for the School's Health & Safety Management System by creating local policies and procedures.
- Implement the policies and procedures as approved by Head of School.
- Communicate all hazards and safe actions
- Meet with Government Health & Safety authorities to improve safety of 1200 students, staff, visitors and contractors.
- Perform daily walk arounds and monthly inspection. Findings are given to Head of School with cost effective recommendations.
- Performs Risk Assessment in the work place and activities
- Ensure the facility is safe through constant monitoring of the Fire Fighting System, Domestic Water, Swimming Pool, Automatic Access doors etc.
- Conducts quality training in Health & Safety and First Aid, as an ACTVET approved Trainer.
- Perform assessment to attendees to ensure understanding of the subject matter.
- Prepare training materials by creating power point presentations and training program.
- Generate evaluation for in behalf of the company.
