Facilitating the inspection of 200 pipe butt welds, support welds of stainless steel, low alloy carbon steel alloys and monitored post weld heat treatment and preheat processes
Directly responsible for the completion of welding and fitting activities.
Reviewing and approving relevant documents as well as revising work packages and monitoring post weld heat treatment
Managing the preparation of quality control plans for tube replacement relating to 6 shutdowns and 12 immediate boiler tube repairs
Drafting quality control plans to enable replacement of the HP pressure steam penetration nozzles and overseeing NDT testing and post weld heat treatment proocesses
Coordinating the work of 4 Welding Inspectors during Shutdowns and developing coprehensive data packages
Inspecting preparation processes and monitoring pre-heat and post weld heat treatment processes as well as managing non-desructive testing activities for over 3000 butt welds.
