Job Brief :
Handling the operations, maintenance and quality enhancement of Mobinil Transmission Network all over the network (SDH Microwave and SDH Optical Fiber Backbone).
Handling the operations and maintenance as well as quality monitoring of Telecom Egypt Leased Lines.
Responsible for the transmission availability and network KPIs of 2G/3G, Core and Data Network Traffic including all mobile services on 24/7 basis to maintain customer experience and Mobinil image for the sake of market leadership and revenue increasimg.
Responsible for the transmission availability and network KPIs of Roaming, International and Interconnect Traffic including launching, alarms handling and quality monioring with Vodafone, Etisalat and Telecome Egypt.
Responsible for the transmission availability and quality KPIs on 24/7 basis for Mobinil Head Quarter, all branches/shops and call centers.

Duties:
Managing Transmission related Projects.
Preparing the job plan in-advance depending-on what received from the manager.
Improve processes for achieving continual improvement in operations.
Quality of Service Reports Analysis.
Cost Reduction Initiatives.
Execution Capacity Statistics.
Handling Incidents/Requests with Regulatory Affairs “NTRA, Legal…”.
Cooperate with other teams to ensure / enhance network performance KPIs.
Integrations with other internal teams ( Core, VAS, IN, Data Network, Access, …) in order toachive overall objective of Mobinil strategy.
Build the database for all network elements in the network.
Prepare work orders and material requisitions for all Mobinil service projects.
Control/Manage all transmission network modification through change management system.
Manage all involved teams to launch new sites on air.
Manage many vendors (Alcatel, Motorola, Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, ZTE) in 3G/2G sites Launching, Swapping and migration.
Participate in scheduled network upgrades / expantions and issuing notifications to customer.
Support in preparing / checking Mobinil Shops and customer service premises infra-struture.
Audit/Maintain the trasmission netwrok elements reachability to the netwrok management system.
Controlling / following up TDM Transmission Network Health and Quality over Leased Lines Optical Fiber Links.
Controlling / following up TDM Transmission Network Health and Quality over SDH MW Links.
Reporting of TDM Quality of Service over Transmission Network.
Handling Quality Incidents.
Responsible for taking proactive actions depending on the quality check to insure the best quality of service to the customer.
Maintain TDM Transmission Network Optimization.
Analysing root cause for service impacting incidents with all involved teams.
Support in Resolving problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the management application.
3rd level support for Alarms over TDM Transmission Network.
3rd level support for transmission support engineers and all teams involved in transmission part (MobiNil Maintenance, ALU, NEC, Ericsson, Tellabs).
Respond to and resolve Transmission network issues within the timeframe of SLAs.
2nd Level Support for PDH MW Links.
Controlling / following up Incidents with External Parties “Vodafone, Etisalat, Telecome Egypt”.
Handling/Supporting during TX/Service Crisis Management.
Following the transmission problems (24/7) and suggesting the solutions needed to minimize the transmission problems with co-operation from transmission engineering.
Following up/Assessing Transmission Vendors/Suppliers.
Ability to mange all transmission teams duties(Support & Backhauling).
Train and mentor Transmission local supervision team within Transmission network.
Creating new connection between any two nodes in the network.
Handling and troubleshooting SDH network problems.
Handling Quality Incidents.
Accepting new equipment and M.W. links.
Following up/Assessing Transmission Vendors/Suppliers.
Working on Alcatel (RM & NM)
Alcatel ISA-ATM & BM-ATM Creation and troubleshooting for 3G sites.
Tellabs 8660 ATM creation and troubleshooting.
Tellabs 8600 SDH creation and troubleshooting.
Familiar with many transmission vendors: Alcatel, Tellabs, NEC.
DCN Planning and troubleshooting for ADM’s management.
NMS Operation (creation, reroute, dismantle and troubleshooting) for Alcatel MW PDH (LUX50, AWY, MXC & MPR).
GPS and SSU Synchronization system.
Accepting and negotiating Action Planes with other teams using HP service disk.
Communication infrastructure.
Construction for telecom operators.
Survey for new mobile operator site.
Line of sight for any new M.W. link
