SARUM Trading distributes 13 of the world's finest luxury organic beauty & home-fragrance brands to over 150 premium hotel spas in the region. I worked with over 200 media across the GCC compiling Press Releases, product information marketing material, social media calendars & strategies as well as events & other administrative adhoc duties. Basic design, strategic media calendar planning and organisation skills were also part of my portfolio. I worked with PR managers abroad to fully liaise and communicate global marketing plans and correct brand alignment in the Middle East.

The Teddy Bear Clinic For Abused Children is an NGO established 27 years ago due to an urgent need for medical examinations and trauma counselling for children in South Africa. My portfolio includes drafting written proposals, copywriting and designing all relevant marketing material and help brochures about abuse, communicating with donors, compiling reports based on statistics and case studies completed, creative fundraising strategies and project plans, managing and completing events as well as social media and online brand awareness. I report to our directors and manage a team of four in our department.

I perform all Marketing, PR, Sales and Communications for LSG Integrated, Welgemeend Wine Estate (several events - local and international), IPS and Franchised Accouting due to launch this year.

My portfolio includes creating and compiling all communication and setting up of platforms for brand awareness, and advertising.
I am solely responsible for all communication both internally and externally.

I worked as a co-presenter on the daily "Breakfast show" in Port Elizabeth. My duties included news preparation, reading of live news bulletins, weather and traffic reports, and several other on-air features for the show.

Oftentimes, I would edit audio tracks and play them out live. On Nelson Mandela's birthday for example, I was responsible for interviewing the public and compiling and audio clip used on air for the day.

I was in charge of teaching fitness instructors and employing new instructors. I taught regular fitness classes - ranging from spinning classes, to aqua-erobics and further to cardio-combo classes. I was forced to be a versatile instructor as I would need to stand in for any instructor who could not make it to their class for what ever reason.
Besides for handling of instructors and the studio time-tables, I was also responsible for the ordering and keeping of all equipment within both the spinning studio, the main studio and the aqua-aerobics areas.
Furthermore, I was responsible for a vast list of administrative responsibilities including equipment reports, qualification files, up-to-date CPR training and class time-table archives.

I worked as an International Youth Travel Consultant selling airfare predominantly to students at Rhodes university.
