• Supervise engineers of system and market administration department
• Preparing and monitoring the trading system for the day and following.
• Preparing, Monitoring, scheduling (cron), running recommended process, tuning and all matching Engine (ME) related events.
• Plan and implement system security policy, host and client access, file permissions, and user accounts.
• Evaluate systems and recommend changes/improvement where necessary.
• Problems troubleshooting and Solving related to FIX, XAI, XW and any thing related to ME.
• Monitoring of Daily and weekly backup and archives of trading related necessary data.
• Provide assistance to Application support, Network, Web, MIS, Market Operation (MOP), Surveillance, RNI and Listing dpt. in performing trade related activities.
• Co-ordinate with Legal department to prepare Service Level Agreement with service provider or product vendors.
• Prepare Departmental Budgeting.
• Communicate & coordinate with the Onsite & Offsite Support Engineers of the Automated Trading System.
• Undertake project work as and when required.
• Resolve queries from the customer.
• Raising service request / Change request to the vendor when necessary.
• Manage user accounts/access (including the testing of new trading system users).
• Maintain all facilities for standard data center used for matching engine server of DSE automated trading system.
• Actively worked to improve existing practices, procedures, and technology implementations
• Reviews existing technology implementations and suggests and implements improvements and upgrades.
