Promoted to Executive Editor at Firefly Communications, managing production and overseeing print and digital content in the Business division (consumer publishing) and Firefly Premium division (content marketing/contract publishing). Responsible for interviewing business executives, compiling and writing feature and news articles, visual direction and managing freelance contributions. Also successfully formulated a strategy to evolve the magazine’s website and to establish a meaningful social media presence.
Contributed content to magazines, newspapers and websites worldwide as a journalist and editor.
Wrote, commissioned and edited articles and managed content and production of two contract publications.
Appointed shareholder, company member and to the Atoll Media Board of Directors within a three tier company structure under Touchline Media and Media 24; contributed to record company profits and newsstand sales of consumer and contract titles and digital entities. Contributed meaningfully to successful management of all Atoll Media business operations, including exceeding business goals and sales targets and implementing successful business strategies.
Responsible for the management and production of youth title Blunt magazine in print and online.
