Continuously improve Expo 2020 C&FF Processes, Policies and Procedures, ensuring that Expo 2020. Agree with Head of Logistics / Acting Head of Logistics, C&FF work stream deliverables and rolling basis Assist the Head of Logistics / Acting Head of Logistics, in the Function and department deliverables on a 6 month rolling basis Via liaison and instruction from the Office of the Executive Director, approach Federal Customs, Dubai Customs and other customs bodies to ensure all applicable laws, rules and regulations (including the See Agreement, relevant Expo 2020 Special Regulations and Customs Guidelines); also to meet with the mentioned parties and build processes to ensure smooth transition of material/equipment into country (and out for post-event) for Expo2020.
As the key contributor and validator of technical Customs information in Expo 2020, liaise and support Dubai Customs in the development and publishing of the Expo 2020 Official Customs Guidelines, ensuring that the Guide is delivered on time.
Working collaboratively with the Official Logistics Partner to manage interfaces with Dubai Trade, systems related to Expo 2020 activities.
Via training and communication, develop tools, briefings training and engagement opportunities to communicate C&FF to the other Logistics work streams, as well as relatable to external stakeholders, including consultants, advisors and participants, ensure all operate in compliance with Corporate and International procedures and standards.
Develop the framework and initiatives for the C&FF legacy.
Provide advice, consultation and updates to different departments, participants as well as suppliers and other external stakeholders in their efforts to integrate the Expo 2020 C&FF policies.
Lead the development of knowledge management of C&FF content that is accessible and informative for all Expo 2020 and external stakeholders. Ensure continual and up to date adherence to policies and procedures and frameworks. Accountable for the monitoring, tracking and reporting of freight shipments for Expo 2020 Logistics, and any non-‘Business as Usual’ Expo 2020 related shipments/freight movements conducted by the Official Logistics Partner. Liaising with the Procurement Function and Logistics Materials Management work stream would be required to get best visibility, as well as collaborating with the Official Logistics Partner and understanding their existing systems for tracking shipments.
Provide timely (i.e. daily, weekly and cumulative) reporting schedules of all shipments (quotes, in progress and completed) and customs queries.
In collaboration with the Logistics Materials Management work stream, assist in coordinating and receiving shipments in and out of the Expo 2020 Logistics Warehouses, ensuring that this is done efficiently so that all relevant systems (e.g. WMS) are up to date, as well as accurate information is being given to Procurement and Finance for billing purposes.
Planning and execution of the post-Expo 2020 recovery of all assets and ensure compliance with re-export procedures at the conclusion of the Expo, ensuring that processes are developed and are clearly communicated to all parties so that they are compliant with exporting and re-export procedures during and at the end of the Expo 2020 event.
Handled business requirements and UAT testing to develop CRM for tracking system for in and out shipments cleared under Expo 2020, Issued the custom process and procedure for Expo 2020 and Process mapping. Approving in and out Expo shipments with custom and other governments. Approving Freight and shipping cost for inbound shipments and out bout, Audit (internal and external) for all in and out shipment.
