• Manage new treasury system testing, acceptance, implementation, and data migration.
• Manage relationship internally with business, finance, IT and management, and externally with financial service providers and regulatory.
• Responsible for improving “TAT” turnaround time and process re-engineering, create “SOP” Standard operating procedures.
• Operations Management for all asset class includes trades confirmations, settlements/payments, accounting entries, proceeds, dividend reclaims, corporate actions and broker/custodian reconciliations.
• Manage liquidity, Short/Long term cash flow forecasting & maintain Nostro position based on the internal policies.
• Manage Private Fund's operations, issuing shares against Fund's Subscriptions and calculations of daily Net Asset Value “NAV” and weekly performance reporting to management.
• Manage execution and operations for Murabaha, MM deposits and FX trades.
• Support Compliance and Risk Management Department by monitoring any suspicious activities and transactions and making necessary escalations to ensure that business is operated in accordance with all legal, regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) and Group internal policies.
• Manage and follow up, Clients/Corporate Onboarding.
• Undertaking Periodic review & Client due diligence CDD.
• Responsible for managing and developing team of five operations support and one supervisor, who support 20 relationship managers and 4 traders in 3 global locations.
• Responsible for planning, prioritizing and managing development projects from inception through specification, development, testing and implementation. This includes planning, tracking, documenting, and implementing all aspects of system, industry and client projects.
• Responsible for checking and improving risk, control & process re-engineering.
• Manage client sales and broker recalls, buy-ins, settlements, proceeds, corporate actions, broker reconciliations and interest claims.
• Verify & settle the following products;
o Equities, Commodities, Fixed income (Long & Short Term), Foreign Exchange, Dual Currency investment, Options, Futures, Interest rate Swaps, and Derivatives.
o Islamic Treasury products (Sukuk Bonds, Wakala, Commodities Murabaha, Profit Rate Swap & FX Wa’ad).
• Collateral management valuation.
part of the Centralized Operations for Emirates NBD Dubai, Emirates Islamic Bank & Emirates NBD Riyadh.
•Successfully tested and upgraded Calypso system for all Global Markets & treasury products which includes Foreign exchange, Money Market, Commodities, Cash Deals, Dual Currency investment, Options, Futures, Interest rate Swaps, derivatives, Islamic products (PRS), and other various structured products.
•Monitored compliance with agreed controls and reported any unusual / unauthorized transactions.
•Enhanced transactions of operational TAT, SLAs, policies and procedures for daily activities.
• Drafted URDs till signing off contract of the UAT.
• Managed system migration and user training of all treasury team staff and mangers to interact with the new system.
• Was responsible for scrutinizing deals, profit, loss & counterparties limits.
• Verified bank’s currencies opening position against exposure limits.
• Maintained daily maturities reports and approving their settlement, processing daily payments.
