Revise the project design & prepare shop drawings, Riser diagram &As-Built drawings for (LV Power network
, MCC Panels, Lighting system, Fire Alarm, FM200 Fire Fighting, Public Address, IP Structured Cabling, IP Video
Surveillance, Master Clock, Master Antenna TV, Access Control, Intercom, Nurse Call) systems, equipment
arrangement, cable trunks routings & wall outlets coordination.
• Prepare Fire alarm system scenario, devices address sheet and Cause and effect matrix.
Study the manufacturer’s material data sheets & prepare perchance order.
Issue requests for information, technical letters, proposals &variation orders to the consultant.
•Prepare quantity survey for the above mentioned systems.
•Attend progress meetings with project’s owner, consultant and technical meeting with systems suppliers
•Attend testing and commissioning, starting up for all the above mentioned systems.
Supervise, lead site installing team to carry on the site mobilization utilities including laying down MV/LV
cables through the site, install electrical utilities to pump stations
• Issue purchase orders for the required materials on site
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors;
• Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective equipment is worn.
• Attend coordination meetings organized by client and consultants etc.
• Conduct daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to
anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks
• Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to
finish the task in due time
• Assist Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned project
• Assist in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan;
• Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of
works performed;
• Attend to Meetings with Owner to solve technical issues and other related matters.
• Coordinate the handing over of completed works to client and completion of the necessary rectification works;
• Provide Technical Support to other site team members
• Study the main project design, acquire the necessary information about the following electrical systems
(Medium/ low voltage cables/equipment, ventilation equipment, earthling& lightning protection, fire alarm
network, lighting system, IT package)
• Attend meetings with system suppliers to discuss their technical solutions to match the design criteria
• Carry on primarily material take off to estimate the required quantities for the above mentioned systems
• Demand a technical/financial offers for form the system suppliers and assures their compatibility with the
project specifications
• Prepare financial comparison sheet between different suppliers
• Prepare the technical submittal for the chosen supplier to be approved by the project consultant
