• Actively involved in executing and supervising all civil and finishing works in order to ensure smooth functioning of the operation in an efficient and effective manner.
• Planning work schedules and efficiently organizing site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines, thus ensuring procedural adherence.
• Developing overall work plan for all construction projects to ensure that the work is assigned and completed within the given time frame without compromising on quality.
• Responsible for designing site plans and interacting with various other construction professionals including architects, engineers, estimators and surveyors prior to the commencement of construction work to enhance better workflow.
• Supervising the selection/ requisition of equipment and materials for use in construction. Fostering clear channels of communication between contractors, subcontractors and ensuring that all the activities are conducted in line with organizational policies.
• Proactively participating in day to day meetings, thus resolving various issues for any unexpected technical difficulties and reviewing progress in compliance with the organizational guidelines and client requirements.
• Instrumental in reviewing and approving daily/weekly/ monthly status reports of projects for the Project Manager, consequently preparing expenditure statements, budgets, submittals and approvals with respect to project requirements .
• Monitored, tracked and reported project status/ progress to the senior management and recommended processes to improve quality and efficiency of projects.
• Preparing construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress against established schedules, checking for variations and proposing suitable modifications to avoid time/ cost overruns.
• Streamlined the preparation of sub-contractors invoices, purchase orders and shop drawings, thus audited major invoice discrepancies and effected corrective action.
