Responsibilities:
• As a contract administrator, I understand FIDIC, NEC, PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council), and Emaar Conditions of Contract. I use this knowledge to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
• Annual management of asset insurance, vehicle insurance, and health insurance for Emaar Karachi Limited and Emaar DHA Islamabad Limited.
• Identify potential contractors/suppliers/consultants for a high rise and infrastructure projects and prequalify them accordingly.
• Prepare the low value bid documents and review the bid documents, RFPs, RFQs, and contract documents provided by the consultants to ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of Emaar International office.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Department of Projects execution team, Project development team, Finance, Legal and Business Development team) before the preparation of bid and contract documents to ensure all the stakeholders are aligned before the issuance of Invitation to tender (ITT), Letter of Acceptance (LOA) & Notice to Proceed (NTP) to the contractor/consultants.
• Evaluate the contractor/consultant performance on a quarterly basis to analyze the track record of contractors/consultants for the future Invitation to tender (ITT) process.
• Make sure that the procurement policies developed with the coordination of the international office are fully implemented so that audit findings cannot be raised in the future.
• Maintain hard copy filing of bank guarantees, undated cheques, performance bonds, insurances, official letters, retention bonds, agreements, and other sensitive documents related to the project in an appropriate manner with the track record in the Excel file for timely notification and return of documents.
• Record the data of cost saving from every project, number of tenders released in the year and the contract lifecycle from issuance to delivery to present in the year end performance evaluation to international office.
Responsibilities:
Managed and supervised the construction projects with the project managers from start
to finish, ensuring the projects finishes on time, within budget, and in accordance with
project specifications.
Developed project plans and timelines on MS project to track the project progress.
Coordinate with the design team to review project design issues and timely address them.
Present the project progress in the meetings and raise the issues to resolve them in a
timely manner.
Oversee the request for information reports, inspection reports, and material
submission reports to track the duration of the approval phase.
Ensured that construction work complies with all relevant regulations, codes, and
standards mentioned in the contract documents.
Keep track of the factors that are causing the delay in the delivery of activity and submit the
register to management at the end of the weekend so that the problems can be fixed before
the next activity.
Coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that material,
equipment, and labor are available when needed.
Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure that work
is being done safely and to the required quality standards.
Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and
status reports.
Managing project change orders and ensuring that any changes are properly
documented, communicated, and approved.
Conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement
lessons learned in future projects.
