Giving comprehensive nursing care to the patient which is mainly based on assessment of needs, nursing diagnosis planning to meet needs. Implementation of nursing intervention and evaluation of nursing practice.
The nursing practice includes receiving patients ( Present and past medical history, family history, Economical status ) checking vital signs, giving bed side nursing by bed bath, Hair bath, Mouth care, bed shampoo, care of the skin, specially on pressure points, eye care, bed making, feeding the patients, giving enema colon irrigation, application of restraints, bladder wash, stomach wash, injections, intravenous infusions, blood and bloods product transfusion.
Putting peripheral line, male and female catheterization, ryle’s tube insertion, Gastrostomy feeding, jejunotstomy feeding, catheter care, collection specimens, wound dressing, suture removal, giving hot and cold application, oxygen therapy, nebulization,
Pre and post-operative care, maintaining reports up to date, care of dying patients, calculation of maintaining the rate of flow of infusions, giving psychological supports and relieving anxiety of patients and relatives.
Teaching the patients and family to improve health and hygiene, keeping the patients unit and surrounding clean and tidy, bed sore dressing, establishment of bowel routine giving inhalation encouraging mobilization, steam inhalation, chest physiotherapy, and neurological assessment
Taking care of different drain, removal drain proper measurement and chart of drain, informing of doctor of there is excessive drain
Checking of blood, urine, sugar level, collection of different specimen like blood, urine, collection of all reports form lab, and taking appointments for investigations and sending the patient at correct time for all the investigation.
INFECTION CONTROL:
Practicing infection control like: -
Segregation of soiled linen
strict aseptic techniques for all sterile procedure
Hand washing prior and after all procedures.
Sending equipment’s for autoclaving and gas sterilization.
Proper disposal of biological and non-biological waste materials.
Isolation and treatment of infected patients.

General Surgery: All types of abscesses, Ano-rectal conditions, Pilonidal sinus, Carcinoma thyroid, Thyroid nodules, Cholecystitits, Diabetic foot infections, Gastro intestinal carcinoma, Hernias, Intestinal obstruction, Morbid, Obesity,
Cellulites, All bariatric surgeries.
Urology: Kidney and bladder tumors, Bladder dysfunction and voiding difficulties, Urinary incontinence, Infection of genito urinary tract, Kideny ureteric and bladder surgical cases
Maxillofacial Surgical cases: CA tongue, Vascular malformation, Fractures of Maxillofacial system
