• Plan departmental workload in line with production schedules to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Distribution of work load to technicians in order to achieve daily production target.
• Participate in Daily Production Meeting and provide feedback on departmental Daily Production Status.
• Supervising hourly production and utilization of manpower accurately
• Monitor & control of personnel on correct use of time as planned.
• Troubleshooting and solving technical problems
• Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications and plan work sequence in relation to machining requirements.
• Maintaining and developing HSE and 5S Housekeeping standards in line with company policies and procedures.
• Conducting Tool Box meeting daily for safety awareness and machine shop related topics.
• Formulating daily, weekly and monthly KPI production reports for management review and ensure progress in the department.
• Examine the needs for training and provide on job training to develop multi skilled operators.
• To build and maintain a good team by recruiting skilled operators and maximize the skills.
• Develop, implement and maintain quality systems consistent with ISO & API QMS standards to meet customer requirements and coordinate continuous improvement activities.
• Liaisons with other departments on quality issues, and coordinate with production heads to control the production quality up to the set standards and specification.
• Identify improvement opportunities in the QMS system, improve process/ product performance through taking the initiative to development and implement quality control procedures which will monitor and react up to customer satisfaction.
• Manage and control of Internal, supplier and customer NCRs and proper corrective actions implemented effectively to avoid recurrences, update in Q-pulse software.
• Manage in-house & 3rd party calibration tasks as scheduled and maintain calibration records in Q-pulse software.
• Hold the responsibilities for the creation, documentation, maintenance and updating of all quality control documents.
• Participate actively in the internal auditing program; actively support the plant during external audits from certification bodies, regulatory bodies, or clients and customers.
• Actively participate in training and development of other personnel on QMS areas.
• Lead and develop Quality department personnel in all shifts and maintaining the Quality System of the company and measuring the departmental performance.
• Preparation QA score card KPI report for Monthly management review.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining 5S and HSE standard systems in the plant.
• New product developments.
• In house parts manufacturing for new moulds and spares.
• Technical discussion and follow up with suppliers for new mould developments.
• Plan and Prepare PM schedule for moulds and complete with in the time.
• Reduce the mould down time by proper service and maintenance.
• Ensure the quality of the products by Inspecting & Rectifying the moulds, products and machines.
• In-house manufacturing and rectification of Machine parts and spares.
• Preparing new machines layout in JRD.
• Preparing complete Plant/Machine layout for new project RMD BOARD.
• Maintaining the Quality System of the company and measuring the departmental performance.
• Calibration of the instruments, equipments and tools that is required for production.
• Responsible for the QHSE system of the company, prepare and submission of EHS documents to the JAFZA authority for the renewal of the operation fitness certificate.
• Monitor and analysis of the daily inspection report of the quality inspectors to improve the total quality by controlling and continuous production improvements.
• Identify the bottle necks in production with root cause analysis and implement proper corrective actions to avoid recurrences.
• Documentation in line with ERP system procedures
• Interpretation of the drawing and do the needful corrections.
• Process planning of the tool/mould parts for varies machining operations.
• Plan Jigs and fixtures and give proper instruction for machining.
• Provide the tolerance values to the machining operators
• Follow up of the machining process.
• Monitor & advise personnel on correct use of tooling, equipment. & inspection methods
• Complete inspection of the machined parts.
• Assembly of the tool/moulds.
• Attend mould trials at customer end plan modifications if necessary.
Inspection of machined parts.
Inspection of plastic and sheet metal components during production.
Check and prepare dimensions of the sample (model) for the purpose of design.
Introduce new methods for setting different types of jobs for inspection.
Plan Gauges (measuring) in order to reduce the inspection time.
Complete documentation in line with ISO standards.
