- In charge of handling a team of supervising a team of 14 front office agents.
- Performing basic front office duties as well as supervising the front office operation.
- Blocking rooms for arrivals of the day paying keen attention to their specific requests.
- Handling guest complains and immediately resolving them.
- Balancing credit card and cash transactions for all the front office staff daily.
- Handling reports in regards to front office operations as well.
- Reports daily to the Front Office Manager.
- Build strong relationship to the guests and making sure all issues they have are addressed.
- Performing basic front office duties and responsibilities in compliance with the Brand Standard of The Ritz Carlton.
- Handling, owning & resolving guests problems and immediately resolving them.
- Handles and manages all in-house guests’ accounts/bills through reports and daily monitoring through the Opera to avoid any issues in the future.
- Up selling rooms and other services provided by the hotel.
- Learning Coach; conducts continuous training for the entire Front Office department (current & newly hired staffs and cross trainees) about the technical part of the job & in accordance with the Ritz Carlton Standards.
- Performing all front and back office duties in compliance with the Marriott International Brand Standard.
- Handling and immediately resolving guest complains, communicating issues to concerned departments, following up with the guests making sure that all issues are resolved and compensated if needed.
- At Your Service operator whenever in need; in charge for answering all phone calls.
- Making daily reports and sending it to all managers and executive leaders.
- Manager on Duty and Front Office Supervisor weekly reliever, started March 2012 on wards
- Other Lateral Service During the Internship:
* At Your Service Operator - answering all internal and external phone calls, recording all requests, complains, issues and all things necessary by means of Guestware, taking room service orders and relaying the orders to the kitchen using Micros touch system.
