• I have been promoted to the litigation team a large part of the role includes negotiating settlements via email and telephone with the Defendant law firms whilst building and maintaining pragmatic relationships with those that bring numerous claims.
• These negotiations include individual small track and fast track claims as well as bulk negotiations with values in-excess of £60000. with a 30% increament in the settlement levels for the claims I took over.
• Logging court orders received, as well as drafting and filing witness statements, reinstatements, Trial bundles, skeleton arguments, authorities bundles, trial timetables and booking of advocates and hearings online.
• Corresponding with the clients and briefing them on the progress of their claims as well as providing them with any information they needd on thier claim.
• Collaborating with external parties that we instruct by providing them with a clear overview of trends we have identified so they can select the most appropriate claims to defend to trial and how to defend them.
