>Managed ultrasonic thickness survey on a wide variety of objects.
>Have done dye penetrant testing over a wide range of materials.
>Conducted magnetic particles inspection on ferromagnetic materials using prod and other MPI methods.
>Able to calculate the heat input and conduct welders qualifications
>Monitor the welding procedure qualifications (PQR) to support development of WPS
>Conduct visual inspection before, during and after welding for good workmanship standards
>Prepare requests and coordinate with vendors for radiographic tests, load test etc
>Should verify the measuring instruments/welding machines duly calibrated
>Should monitor that proper care taken by welders in handling welding consumables
>Should report the weld defect details with reference to weld joint number to QA/QC Engineers.
>Should ensure the relevant documents such as route sheets, WPS, drawings, etc are available with the welders or operators during work.
>Should prepare and provide the inspection reports to QC Engineer immediate after the completion activity.
