• Deputed areas are polymer process plant, utilities and power generation unit (Cap. 45MW)
Job Description
• The Instrument and control engineer is responsible for execution of the preventive maintenance jobs through EAM (Enterprise Assets Management) which is an Oracle based software used for plant maintenance and scheduling. Handling of emergency jobs in the in power generation, utilities and polymer process. The utility area comprises of water treatment plant, boilers, chillers, HTM furnaces, compressors, Nitrogen Generation Plant .The poly condensation is a continuous process which is controlled through the Distributed Control System provided by Fisher Rosemount and Emerson Process Management. Also working on TTS4000 and Lab View 7.1 for the control of Gas Turbine
• To keep the plant maintenance activities and quality assurance up to the international Standards the ISO 9001:2000 clauses are practiced.
Troubleshooting Experience:
• Provide direct in-plant engineering support operational requirements for the Fisher Rosemount Basic Process Control System 20 series SRx and SR90. Maintenance of control algorithms and graphics, regulatory control loops, system administration, and performance monitoring by examination of application log files, and operating system and network log files. Performing necessary routine tasks as needed such as data backup operations, disk de-fragmentation, and others.
• Hands on experience in the troubleshooting of Siemens PLC S7 300 series controllers 315-2DP, 316-2DP, 300 and S5 series 95-U, 100-U, 115-U CPU.
• Provide support for PLC based controllers with PC and Windows based HMIs such TP27, MP370, OP 7 etc.
• Develop revisions to existing PLC programs, programming changes, and then implement PLC programming changes on PLC systems.
• Worked to serve 24 hours on-call rotational duty and provide extend duty during plant outages for maintenance, and during plant shut down and startup periods.
• Working experience on operation and calibration of different field instruments including Weighing Scales, Schenck Dosing System used for continuous powder weighing application, Control valves, Scintillation counters, Field Transmitters, Sensors, Actuators and field instruments.
Projects Handled
• Participated in the erection of Polymer Plant capacity 600 tons/day and also coordinated with Lurgi team during commissioning and start-up of the plant.
• Participated in the erection of Gas turbine and also coordinated with Turbo-mach team for the commissioning of Gas turbine.
• Participated in the erection of HRSG Boiler with capacity of 25 tons/hr and coordinated with Bono Energia team during its commissioning.
• Worked as a team lead during installation of Gas Compressors and provided coordination to Ener Project team.
• Also participated in the up-gradation of DCS from Provox to Delta-V.
• Erection and commissioning of cooling towers and absorption chillers.
Erection and commissioning of 600tons/day Polyester Plant.
