Member of a team tasked with implementing a data import feature in an existing railway control database system.

Working with VBA in Microsoft Access, I successfully developed an add-on feature for the database system to simplify configuration, testing and deployment of railway signalling and control systems. The tool made extensive use of SQL, database table manipulation and management, and fail-safe functions with error-checking to ensure data formatting and structures were maintained during the import process.

Completed two months ahead of schedule and subsequently deployed on a major railway line in Hong Kong.
