Plan and approve Subcontractor audits and reviews of the subcontractor quality control programs within his area of responsibility. Ensure that the QC Team Prepared Project QC Plans, QC Checklist, ITPs in case of self-execution and approve it. Ensure the availability of the construction method of statement, carry out inspection and check for all quality-related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan. Responsible and manage all lab activities, calibration issues. Ensure and follow up on preparing and closing punch lists and verifies all items are in place. Responsible for compiling inspection records and other quality control documents and preparation of final document/handing over dossier for final Contractor submission. Coordinate nonconformance s identification, disposition, and corrective action follow up. Timely submission of reports all the activities to the Project Quality Manager. Ensure, manage the inspection and quality control activities for all materials before pass to the Project store.


PROJECT: Julius Nyerere Hydropower Plant and Dam - Tanzania
Project Objectives: Generating electricity with capacity of 2115MW to satisfy energy needs in Tanzania Control water flow in the period of flooding and thus providing the necessary water requirement.
Main dam for storage of water to generate hydropower using RCC concrete for main dam with total length 1025m at crest level and 130m dam level with Diversion tunnel 660m length (15*17m) and 2 cofferdams. Construction of 4 saddle dams for reservoir impounding of water with length of 1.4km, 7.9km, 4.6km and 2.6km with a maximum height 21.3m, 14m, 12.4m and 5.5m respectively, with a capacity to impound approximately 33 billion m3 of water
Construction of a hydropower plant with a capacity of 2115mw and a substation of 400kv; in addition to 400kv transmission lines to the nearest point of the public network The civil works includes the following: Permanent access roads connecting the site with the existing roads network and length about 21km. Temporary access roads that connect all permanent facilities with length of 59km. Main dam of RCC on Rufiji River Power plant with administration building, control building, workshops and stores.

Leading a team of structural engineers, architectural, MEP engineers and survey team to monitor and control the construction works at site according to project standards. Responsible for administration of construction contract works, and assist the RE with prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals, and RFI's to all contractors. Orient, assign, and supervise the construction inspection staff on a daily basis so that all contractor activities are adequately covered. Supervise and remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activities. Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents. Coordinate the interface of the construction work with other contractors on the site. Orient inspectors to verify that contractor is following his approved site Health & Safety plan. Review the contractor's progress at all times. Monitor the material incorporated in the work, the materials stored at the site, and the contractor's manpower and equipment. Review inspector's daily reports and preparation of engineer's daily diary, and general oversight of inspector's daily activities including works assignments, on-site performance, and guidance on the supervision of the contractor's operations. Coordination with contractor's supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence, and method of work.

PROJECT: Zone R5 in the New Capital - Administrative Capital, Egypt.
The project stretches over an area of approximately 984.67 feddans divided into four neighborhoods: 19th century western architecture. Modern architecture, villas, and finally tower. In addition, the project contains 59 prototypes of residential buildings including a commercial ground floor, and each square plot accommodates a number of buildings and four prototypes of villas and townhouse units, as well as various ancillary buildings, including schools, mosques, family health clinic, sport club, police station, civil defense center, and a post office. Moreover, the project contains two hotels in the tower neighborhood adjoining the green river.

Having overall responsibility for effectively managing the projects, labor and equipment to achieve maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness. Making preparations before work begins on site including communicating with the public, architects and engineers. Also, in charge of keeping track of progress and ensuring that projects are on time and to budget.

PROJECT: EGYPTIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL - OMAN, Muscat, Oman.
One of the most important projects for the Egyptian community in the Sultanate of Oman, where the mandate was to supervise and monitor the work of the Egyptian Ambassador residing in Muscat. It was under the supervision of the Amman Arab Office for Engineering Consultancy, led by Eng. Muhammad Karawiya. Where it was designed and implemented based on the international standards of international schools to be an honorable interface for the Egyptian community in the Sultanate of Oman. Owner: General Authority for Educational Buildings - Egypt. Main Contractor: The Arab Contractor (Osman Ahmed Osman & Co.)- Oman Branch.

Review all structural and architectural drawing for the projects. Support for contractors to find a solution to the problems facing workflow. Barka Hotel, Barka, Oman. A four-star tourist hotel, with thirty-two rooms with six golden suites and two royal suites.
Al-Haram Resort, Al-Haram, Oman. A tourist health resort characterized by vast green areas, and the place chosen for it is far from all the noise of the city with the nature of the lands adjacent to it, which are characterized by sand dunes for the exercise of desert sports.

Duties included supervising concrete/steel structures; monitoring and supervising the work of contractors, site supervisors, and junior engineers; monitoring the procedures for storage, handling, testing, construction, and installation, as well as safety and quality control programs; ensuring that project contract requirements are met and executed within agreed time frames; assisting with pre-tender and pre-construction activities for site contracts; studying drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations; reviewing as-built drawings to obtain final approval; assisting in preparing monthly progress reports, as well as final acceptance and completion reports; and reviewing contractors' claims and valuations, as well as the comments and reports on progress payments for the following projects:

MULTI-STOREY COMM. RESID. BUILDING, Barka, Oman. The largest commercial residential building in the region, with a total area of 15, 890 square meters. By its distinctive nature on the main road, it has become one of the landmarks in the region, as it includes 49 apartments on each floor, with services and shops on the lower floors, and a building dedicated to parking cars.
Kids Mall, Al-Haram, Oman. One of the most important projects that distinguish the region, as it is a huge mall that can accommodate 40 commercial stores, in addition to a special children's play area divided according to the age of the children. The project won the approval of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Social Service.

The first and largest center specializing in caring for people with special needs in the region, the project was completed with a short period of time and the work was followed by the governor of the region directly for the importance that the project represented to the ministry. Shell Petrol Station, Al-Haram, Oman.

Bid preparation and cost analysis; man loading and procurement of materials contract preparation and follow-up attending periodical meetings on site; reviewing and approving technical specifications; preparing progress reports; approving contractor’s invoices and preparing bills of quantities; and conducting quantity surveying. Al Shaikh Shopping Center, Barka, Oman. A pivotal shopping center in the region, located in the middle of the popular souq. It is located on a flat area of 5, 500 square meters.
