Direct the activities and supervise the performance of personnel assigned to own section, to ensure that the requirements of sound accounting principles and the company manuals, procedures and instructions, together with statutory requirements by the local government are met. Supervise standard accounting functions such as: the preparation of payrolls, the posting and reconciliation of all accounts in the various ledgers, reconciliation of monthly trial balance and the calculation of employees and other provision statements. Exercise appropriate control over bank transaction such as letter of credit, transfer of funds, suppliers, subcontractors. Prepare draft financial statements and forecast, which reflect the financial position of the Project or group (Profit and loss, balance sheet, taxes, cash flow forecast, Amortization and % Completion) . Control and monitor all indirect costs against approved budget levels, bringing to attention over-runs or discrepancies. Provide training, coaching and technical direction to subordinates to ensure that they perform to required standards and procedures and they develop their potential for career progression.
