Utilize computerized maintenance databases to support Corrective and Preventative maintenance program (CMMIS) for all plant machineries/ equipment in Air Separation Plant and Hydrogen Plants.
Provide continuous leadership and guidance to maintenance supervisors and employees. Coach and mentor plant maintenance leads on maintenance strategy, best practices and role of a maintenance organization in a continuous improvement environment .
Prepare and maintain equipment maintenance and personnel records. Utilize Reliability Engineering techniques to optimize line performance using FMEA & RCM.
Develop positive partnerships with other operational functions (i.e. production or human resources) and suppliers to ensure human capital, equipment, production and sanitation processes are used in the most effective/efficient manner to meet or exceed manufacturing targets. Support Autonomous Maintenance program to build capability in all employees to identify and correct base condition defects to the component level.
Manage direct reports and provide leadership and guidance for their professional and personal development.
Own and drive safety programs to ensure operations personnel are in compliance with federal/state and company policies and procedures. Partner with EHS to ensure OSHA compliance and proper management of process safety maintenance.
Monitor tool and parts inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
Examine objects, systems, or facilities, and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools and gauges to verify conformance to standards and repair requirements.
Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, and outside contractors.
Review, evaluate, accept, and coordinate completion of work bid from contractors.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to construct templates and layout reference points for workers.
Design equipment configurations to meet personnel needs. Participate in Engineering Work Process to ensure delivery of equipment with robust maintenance plans, integrated visual controls, established centerlines and defined routine clean, inspect and lubrication standards.
Recommend and/or manage continuous improvement in a way that engages employees and functional partners in systematic, effective and collaborative manner.
Spend approximately 80% of time on the production floor and maintenance shop engaging with employees and overseeing department operations.
Cooperate with managers and other leaders to ensure all Company legal and ethical requirements are met.
Participate in emergency and crisis management teams.
Ensure all aspects of plant KPI’S are being reviewed and communicated to operations team and recommend ways to improve. Drives productivity and efficiency gains through reduction of Planned and Unplanned Downtime in order to contribute to yearly productivity and OEE goals.
Manage the Maintenance Training Program and conduct training to maintain compliance with Company and regulatory requirements.
Assist with the management of budget, expenses and P&L responsibilities effectively.

Rolling Mill Production plant (Danieli)
Sustains and improves reliability, plant operation, maintenance, and systems documentation for a leading Steel Rolling Mill Plant.
Implemented preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to perform scheduled outages.
Supervised overall operation of the Rolling Mill Plant while on shift, including auxiliary equipment and systems such as Cooling Towers, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Chains & conveyors systems, Clutches, brakes and Central Lubrication Units.

In charge-Mechanical Maintenance for Coal Grinding units (900x2 TPD) having Vertical Roller Mills- ATOX-27.5 (FL Smith Design), with Baghouse, Material Handling & Storage and other auxiliaries.

In charge-Mechanical Maintenance for Limestone Crushing, Conveying & Stacking Units (1200x2 TPH) having Impactor Crushers- APPM-1822 with Bag house, Material Handling & Storage and other auxiliaries.

Inertisation of Plant-2 Coal Grinding Unit.
Complete Major Maintenance/Replacement in the areas.
Up gradation of Process fans and related structures.
Instrumental in conducting exhaustive Training Programs for workers and up to Junior Management levels.
Active member of TPM & Six Sigma and different teams like PM Pillar, PAC Team, Six sigma project team & ISO effectiveness team in the TPM regime at Cement Sinai & Ultratech cement.
Eliminated the problem of stacker-rail wearing out.
Solved the critical problems of damage in sacrificing belt and dusting/spillage.
Reduced the downtime in Feed-screw replacement to 3 hours from 24 hours.( Major Break-through)
Had specialized in Hot Air Generators/Burners/Firing systems and their fuel efficiency.
Introduced Fine Coal Transfer system in both Coal Grinding Units.
