 Develop, establish and embed robust HSES standards for the sites fully meeting Syngenta requirements.
 Deliver appropriate support and steer to management ensuring the delivery of the sites HSES performance sustainably.
 Ensure meeting qualitative and timely reporting for HSES;
 Guarantee that all compliance to internal or external regulation are understood and met.
 Implement and drive a Site HSES committee delivering a structured platform enabling documenting and recording actionable plan.
 Deliver HSES insights are supporting the delivery of ‘fit for purpose’ and compliant OpEx and CapEx budgets.
 Drive establishing and sustaining an HSES culture on sites through leadership.
 Ensure delivering Gap analysis, regular reviews, assessments, remediation and/or mitigation are in place on HSES Code of Practices;
 Support Procurement in assessing HSES for supplier & contractor’s selection and yearly evaluation.
 Act as a trustable and reliable HSES partner towards site’s organization, HSES community and other interacting function’s.
 Develop, maintain & monitor an HSES Improvement plan (1, 3 & 5 year’s) to steer tangible and sustainable improvements. Ensure culture change is supported towards a transformation journey mapping.
 Implement effective Emergency Management Syngenta (EMS) platform and team for the R&D sites
 Prepare R&D Sites to receive Formal HSE Audits Vs Syngenta Policy & standards.

 Conduct planned inspection of facilities, Equipments, warehouses and workshops and materials including review of maintenance logs & work permits and record documentations.
 Report HSE performance and help in developing HSE policy & procedures.
 Attend HSE meetings, client meetings and Emergency response meetings.
 Perform Risk analysis, JSA, Tool box talk.
 Supervise Site Safety Procedures, Evacuation plans and testing of (Air quality, noise, temperature, etc.) to ensure legal/policy compliance.
 Conduct Audit internally among the site and in different OCI sites
 Prepare HSE Documents and ensure its implementation on site.
 Recommend and/or Execute HSE Trainings for employees and induction for new hires

Follow-up installing and maintaining all the new machines, prepare Process Documentation, prepare preventive maintenance Plans &assure spare parts availability for all the utilities and the main production lines (extruder & the converting machines (printers) ), Make contact with other Departments to improve production Performance & efficiency.
