1. Customer Engagement and Assistance:
Greet customers as they enter the branch and provide a warm, friendly welcome.
Assist customers with account inquiries, transactions, and general banking services.
Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries, resolving issues or redirecting to appropriate departments.
Provide information about bank products, services, and promotions to customers.
2. Account Management:
Open new accounts, process account updates, and guide customers through required documentation.
Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other account transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist customers with online banking setup, troubleshooting, and navigation.
Educate customers on account features, benefits, and online banking tools.
3. Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the relevant departments or higher management, if necessary.
Investigate and correct account discrepancies or errors promptly.
4. Financial Services:
Assist customers with loan applications, explain loan terms, and provide information on repayment options.
Promote and explain various investment options, fixed deposits, and savings plans.
Collaborate with the wealth management team to offer tailored financial solutions to customers.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all customer transactions and documentation adhere to regulatory and bank policies.
Verify customer identification and comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation.
6. Cash Handling:
Manage cash drawer, process cash transactions accurately, and balance at the end of each shift.
Handle currency exchanges and provide customers with foreign currency services, if applicable.
7. Cross-Selling and Upselling:
Identify opportunities to promote additional bank products and services to customers.
Cross-sell credit cards, insurance, and other financial products to meet sales targets.
8. Administrative Tasks:
Assist in branch administrative duties, such as maintaining branch appearance, ordering supplies, and updating signage.
Assist in preparing daily reports, transaction summaries, and other required documentation.
9. Training and Development:
Stay updated on the bank's products, services, policies, and industry trends through regular training sessions.
Train new staff members on customer service protocols, bank processes, and systems.
10. Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with fellow branch staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Assist colleagues during busy periods or when additional support is needed.
