1. Lead for the Network and SecurityTeams.
2. Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards;
3. The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment;

8. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations;
9. Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and managing projects;
10. Liaising with project management team, 3rd line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis;
11. Communicating with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture. Vendor Management: Evaluates services provided by vendors and recommends changes.
12. Ability to act as Network Engineering Manager in the absence of the manager.
13. Provide technical pre-sales and post-sales architecture assistance for prospective customers and current clients
1- Prepare BoM/BoQ documents for various Cisco technologies.
2- Install, configure and maintain enterprise level network hardware and applications.
3- Plan, configure and oversee the implementation of the network infrastructure in co-ordination with customers, principals, service providers, and business partners to ensure implementation meets design parameters.
4- Provide post-sales support to customers.
5- Troubleshoot and provide solution in a timely manner for complex multi-vendor network.
6- Provide support for project implementation & documentation.
7- Provide training to customers on system usage.
8- Run Proof-of-Concept designs and deployments.
9- Collaborate with sales teams to qualify client opportunities for pursuit, and manage the opportunities through the pursuit process
10- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown for large projects
11- Help expand the breadth and depth of Clients opportunity and convert into revenue.
12- Provide on demand professional consultations to customers.
1- Design, manage and maintain TDM’s networks in:
a. Level 3, London.
b. Telecity, London.
c. Mayfair, London.
d. Amman, Jordan.
e. TDM’s Customers’ local networks upon request.
2- Manage and maintain all network devices including: Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco ASAs and PIX firewalls, Cisco IPS system, Cisco Content switches, Cisco Access Control Server and CiscoWorks server.
3- Design, manage and maintain customers’ and TDM’s VLANs and DMZs, along with ACLs and Static/Dynamic Natting on the firewalls.
4- Design, manage and maintain site-to-site and remote access VPN tunnels.
5- All layer 2 tasks including, STP, VTP, etherchannels, etc.
6- Monitor and manage the network using CiscoWorks server.
7- Improve the network design in order to increase its availability, performance, robustness and security.
8- Maintain BGP operation on the border routers.
9- Configure and implement remote access VPNs for users.
10- Deploy, configure and manage Cisco Intrusion Prevention Systems.
11- Deploy, configure and manage Cisco Secure Access Control Servers ACS 4.2.
12- Deploy, configure and manage Console servers for out-of-band network management.
13- Perform network audits, documentation and Microsoft VISIO diagrams.
14- Upgrade Cisco Routers, Switches, ASAs, PIXs and IPS systems IOS.
15- Interact with various Telcos to carry out circuit tests and assist in analyzing ongoing network issues.
1- Supervising and leading the NOC operations.
2- Escalate periodic reports to the Operational manager, regarding NOC activities, network status and behaviour.
3- Respond to all network alerts in a timely manner and initiate corrective actions to restore network service.
4- Coordinate fault resolution with operating company field personnel, NOC, and vendor support teams.
5- Make recommendations and take actions to prevent network interruptions and / or service degradation 24X7.
6- Provide Tier-2 technical support for all assigned Harres & Stratex, Airspan and Cisco elements (Wi-Max Base stations, Cisco switches and routers, and Microwave links.
7- Perform equipment diagnostics, follow vendor-troubleshooting
procedures, and take corrective action to minimize service interruptions.
8- Provide technical and analytical support in determining the root cause of network problems and implement action plans, guidelines, and NOC departmental processes and procedures.
9- Utilize NOC supporting systems, processes and procedures to ensure
timely and accurate trouble ticket resolution and activity reports.
1- Design, manage and maintain the local network and VLANs.
2- Monitor the network connectivity and performance using different software's (3COM Supervisor and HP Open View and sniffing tools).
3- Manage and maintain the Cisco PIX 535 firewall.
4- Provide and implement new designs to the campus network.
5- Maintain the routing protocols on multilayered core and distribution switches.
6- Improve the performance, availability and security of the network.
7- Manage the websense web filtering server and Cisco Content engine (CE).
8- Manage the DHCP server, DHCP relay agents on layer three devices, defining new scopes and troubleshooting.
9- Define access control lists (ACLs) on core and distribution multilayered switches to restrict undesired routing between different VLANs.
